Parmak Precision MAG12SP 12 Volt Magnum Solar Fencer

Solid energizer. I had thought of getting one that would hook up to our local power source but then a few days after getting this we had a power outage, confirming why I like solar better :) This 12V is supposed to be better than the 6V for keeping out predators like foxes. Haven't seen it tested by one yet but hoping it keeps them out!

Needed to replace the charging module on myParMak and was expecting to have difficulty finding one . Happy to find that Jeffers had them available at a reasonable price. Shipping was prompt . Very pleased.

I have had dozens of fence charges, plug in and solar over the 60 plus years I have had horses, always hit and killed by lightning strikes, living in Florida...they are destroyed, by the lighting. BUT PARMAK should hire me for commercials. These really are the best! I have over 8. I have a breeding horse farm with stallions, mares, babies, weanlings, yearlings, horses in training, outside mares to be bred, each paddock is wired and has a redundant system just in case something fails. Which is SUPER rare over the 20+ years I have used them the only thing is the battery will eventually have to be replaced, after many years. I love, love, love, this product and tell everyone this is the ONLY system to get. Order came in great shape. In other posts about this product on other sites there were bad reviews about the product being sold as new but obviously reconditioned. The item I received was new. Appears to work great. Only installed not for one week. Only concern at this point is the meter tends to stay in the green and barely moves when the charger pulses. I have had the same basic model, but in 6 volt, for years, and the meter stays in the red until the pulse sends it into the green, going back and forth with each pulse. Don't know yet if the meter staying in the green with just a little movement with each pulse means anything. _ Unit arrived very fast and in great condition. Price has dropped slightly since I purchased, so this would be an especially good purchase (now at $237).

This product was easy to mount and connect wires. Works great and holds a long charge. Product works better than advertised. Highly recommend.

Hooked up to the hot wire fence after product was fully charged but wasn't working. Read info and found a wire broken on the inside of it. Read more and found out this happens a lot w/this product.
