Patriot Memory 480 GB Solid State Drive, 2.5" Internal, SATA (SATA/600)

I've only had this SSD a couple of months, but it works very well. Installation is easy, and no heat generated as you get with a spinning hard drive.

I received the drive very quickly and duplicated a 1 TB laptop 5400 rpm drive that was running slow. The SSD drive extended the life of this 9 year old laptop as it now boots quickly and the programs run so much quicker.

A plug-n-play replacement for a hard drive that died on my aging Win7 laptop. Should be good to go for a few more years instead of spending $100's (or thousands) on a new laptop. :D

The tech behind this drive is rather matured as of this July 2025 review; speed jump from prior SSD to this SSD is practically nil. Typical 2.5 inch form factor, so familiar mounting and connecting. Works in Linux.

Drive works great on my older MacBook. It's fast and affordable. The drive itself is high quality plastic that feels good in the hand. Very light that adds no weight. Highly would recommend this drive.

Has been working very well for me, very fast for what I use it for. I t is a good idea to format new drives before installing OS or moving your image. I installed this on a 15 year old HP desktop and it made a world of difference.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Im not sure about how long the life span is on it but its a good value for the cost.

Seems to have delayed but wally doesn't save that info, or I don't know how to retrieve it. Priority to another project so it hasn't been tried out yet.
