Ive been looking for a good clarifying shampoo since they discontinued the neutrogena one i used for numerous yrs. Ive tried a bunch including shampoo two and this is the best by far!! Finally!
works as intended
Best product out there
My granddaughter had terrible damage to her hair from chlorine. Her hair was dry. It felt like straw. I washed her hair with Paul Mitchell's Shampoo Three. I left it in for a few minutes. I then vigorously rinsed her hair. I repeated the shampoo. I then applied my regular conditioner. It was amazing the difference! Her hair got the shine back. It was soft. Each time I used it, her hair damage improved. I now make sure to shampoo with Shampoo Three each time she swims.
Gets my hair perfectly clean, without drying it like other clarifiers do, and it takes out the extra chlorine, chemicals and minerals from my shockingly awful county water. Now my hair is its normal color, not something odd and funky from what still comes out of the tap even with a filter.
I swim almost every day and the chlorine from the pool water is making my hair feels like straw….stiff and dry. No amount of conditioner is helping. When I learned about this shampoo, I got to give it a try knowing that Paul Mitchell products are of high qualities. It surely did not disappoint. My hair is now soft and manageable. It makes a world of difference. I would highly recommend it.

Did nothing!
I purchased this shampoo because it was recommended for chlorine removal. I swim a lot and have major buildup. My hair is brown and grey and I have not noticed any greening of my hair so am unable to attest to that part of the claim. I shampooed twice the first time I used it and noticed little to no difference in the feel of chlorine buildup in my hair. Subsequent use of this shampoo didn't give me different results. I tried using it with other chlorine removal shampoos both before and after the others with no real results. This is the fifth shampoo I've tried and the most expensive. If I am being frank, Hairitage sea salt shampoo works twice as good (though not perfectly) and is cheaper, smells better, has clean ingredients, and is not tested on animals.
Although it makes my hair feel clean and not dry, it did not serve its purpose.
