Pautzke Fire Bait – Chartreuse Garlic 1.5 oz

Pautske fire bait is a fishing bait I've been using ever since I've been a kid and I'm 64 years old and I trust there products to catch trout for me each and every time I go fishing. Like all always this Chartreuse Garlic works like a charm to stay on your hook and the garlic scent really attracts the trout. I would recommend this product.

Great stuff!! I carry two in my tackle box at all times. Trout (sometimes catfish) love this bait because of the garlic scent.

Takes some time to mold on to single barb hooks and stays for multiple casts. Treble hook would work better. Smells of garlic.

The fish were instantly attracted to the scent of this bait. Lots of bites, a few hook ups with fish caught for dinner.

I liked this bait because the smell seemed strong enough to attract the fish. It was easy to apply and the color is perfect. I was able to catch about 10 blue gill fish using this product

It is way too sticky than powerbait. Good and bad. Good, you generally won't lost it while casting. Bad, it takes more effort to get rid of it if you want to change. Good, it still attract trout, but its toughness makes it harder to make hook penetrate the dough and catch the fish. I was using treble hook with both powerbait and fire bait for trout with a ball shape. I lost more fish when using fire bait. the bait would still stay on the hook after fighting with the fish and fish gone, but squashed while it's inside fish. Advice: Use less around hook point to make it easier to penetrate.

Doesn't float as good as Berkeley power bait
