I haven't put this together yet, but because I didn't realize and didn't see this mentioned in reviews…this is raw wood. Not sealed or anything. Was so excited to put this together but now I'm painting and sealing because this this would REAK once peed on if left as is. This wood would soak the yuck right up.

It's a good product the instructions on building it were very vague besides that it's a just as I look in the photo after you build it.

The cage itself looks very nice, just as pictured. We expected this to be a great purchase, however, it did not take any time for our sweet Ruby to chew a hole right through the side wall and escape into the night. This needs to come with a tray. I can't find one that fits in the cage right and if you don't have one it really starts to smell. Other than that it's perfect size and our hamster loves climbing in it.

The wood is very thin and cracked while putting the screws in. the bottom door either opens leaving holes for possible escaping or you make it flush and not being able to open the bottom door. Havent put the hamsters in yet so we will see how that holds up. I wouldnt buy this again.

just ok, leaks pee out the bottom. wood absorbs the smell. Wood is too soft, hamster can chew it up.

if i could give this product negative ratings i would, everything is unaligned, nothing fits or screws in properly, the front handle wont screw in all the way and the instructions are horrible and alittle confusing. im not the greatest builder but even i understand that this was very poorly designed and made, putting it together is the most frustrating thing in the world and its not even worth all the stress, definitely not worth the money.
