This is the second one I have bought from RawHut, very durable, dog likes it, would buy from them again
I bought it as part of his dog training regime where he needs to 'stay' until he's told to 'break' (which is his okay to release from it) - he luvs it so much that I can't get him to 'break' (throw his treat on the ground and he just looks at it like to say "what? you want me to get off this - it's too comfortable". He's a tall dog and just under 70 lbs - so far, the material and the extra supports below have held up (which it was foldable but I was looking for durability vs. function in a dog cot - have read too many reviews about dogs going through the canvas) - have it only for a week but so far, so good!
I have 3 chihuahuas ranging in size from 10 lbs, 17 lbs, and 25 lbs. This bed is big enough to fit all 3 of them. So far only one of them has hopped up on it and she seems to like it. It's only a matter of time before they all try it out. My back porch has an awning so I put it there so it won't be affected by the weather. I wanted an elevated bed because when it rains heavy the water starts to flow onto the porch because the patio to the side of my porch has a crack in the cement and slopes downward in the direction of my porch. The last bed I had on the porch wasn't elevated and it got soaked and dirty. Assembly was pretty easy to do by myself. My dogs aren't chewers or destructive so I expect this bed will last them for several years. I'm very happy I bought it.
He got on it right away, he knew it was for him. Our dog is an outdoor dog and has always slept on the back porch rug. Under a covered patio. We put this next to the door and he is on it day and night, in between swims in the pool. The cot is very easy to put together and light enough to move around.
I loved these got two, one for a German Shepherd and the other one for a big Lab. Perfect and much more room left over. Easy to assemble and disassemble to clean.
I like that this bed keeps the dogs off the hot ground when they are lounging outside with the family. It is easy to clean, but I don't plan on taking this for travel as described (with its travel bag) as it would be too difficult to un-assemble and re-assemble every time you want to travel with it. It would be nice if it was foldable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Looks just like the photos, very easy to assemble did it in about 5 minutes, I still don't get how it's portable if someone figures that out please let me know. M husky pup loves it he has plenty of room and it looks good and sturdy so far.
I have had this bed for my dogs who both weight under 20 lbs each. I have already noticed a small rip in the material so I doubt it will last very much longer.
Bed is easy to assemble and appears to be good quality material (though it's only been 3 weeks!) Disappointed that carrying bag was ripped during shipping.
Paw hut was not practical for travelling as does not fold up. Very large which was great for my big dog but too large for travel.
