Pawhut Small Animal Cage with Platform, 35"

Really like this cage for one of our guinea pigs. We have two girls that started to get on each others nerves. We needed to separate them at night. This cage is perfect for that purpose. Very easy to put together- took me less than 10 minutes, that included filling up with aspen chips, filling water bottle, food bowl, snacks etc I appreciate that water bottle, food bowl and hay rack is included! Great value! Cage is well made, very safe and sturdy. I would definitely not recommend this cage for 2 guinea pigs as stated on the box. This would be okay as a starter cage for a baby guinea pig - just know you will want to get a bigger cage as your piggie grows to give it room to run and play. My girl hasnt used the ramp yet- haha! Shes a cuddler though and not too athletic, shall we say! Im sure other piggies would love the ramp!! We have had piggies in previous years that have been climbers and jumpers, so your piggie might have wild parties on their ramp, who knows!! I would highly recommend this cage. It arrived faster than the date promised in my case anyway- I cannot promise for you and your piggie. Please just only put one piggie in this cage. You will be very happy with your purchase!!!

When the cage arrived, one corner of the plastic bottom (the base of the cage) had been broken off, about a 3 inch piece, but wasnt in the box so I presume it was broken before being packaged. Other than that, the cage worked well. The plastic ramp was a little slippery so for larger animals steps might work better.

Definitely not a good habitat for more than one guinea pig, even young ones. The water bottle leaked from the start and I switched to a water bowl - problem is, theres really no good place for a water bowl. Not much room to run around.

Arrived as someone else's returned broken tray in a solid undamaged box with only packing materials. Returned for refund.
