this cage is the best ever. I'm very happy with it easy to clean. easy to get into due to the top access the bunny can see out the windows the cage it's just a perfect cage I couldn't say anything better about it
Very easy to set up. Love the grid flooring! Very easily to access for cleanup, feeding and taking your little friend out of the cage, with the large opening on the top and large front door opening. Great pull out bottom base with a nice height splash guard around the entire cage. We have a very large outdoor cage that I had built and using this cage for the winter months in our garage. I also purchased a plastic 4 panel pen for our lion head bunny to run around outside and now using it for around this great indoor cage for him to run around with just opening the front door for him to go in and out of his cage. Highly recommend this item!!!!
This is a great cage. We got our 4 year old a bunny for Christmas. The bunny is young and with it being cold we needed to be able to keep it inside. This cage is great because it's low to the ground and my daughter can get the bunny in and out easily. The best part is the bottom grates are large but have holes for poop and pee to go through so the bunny stays out of the mess and with the removable tray it's very easy to clean. I had noticed that the bunny was using one corner of the cage so I got a rabbit litter box and she has been using it. The tray easily holds pee pads and bedding of choice for easy cleanup. You can remove the grates and clean up any excess mess with wipes. I am easily able to clean/change the whole cage inside within minutes without having to take it outside for a hose down. The sides are high so much less mess, if any, outside the cage. The cage is easy to move around the house as needed. Set up was easy. Definitely recommend for an indoor bunny or even a guinea pig. There's plenty of room (for now while she is little) and the ramp can be placed on either side. I'm really happy with this cage overall and glad I found this one to purchase. Just as a side note, inside the cage is the rabbit litter box, a hanging feeder up on the second level, water bottle hanging from the outside. Since the bunny is not using the whole cage as a potty, there is room to add a little bed or mat for her to lay on, or even a small tube hideout. We've had other small animals in the past and other small cages, and this is really my favorite so far.
Works perfectly. Has a soft bottom that isn't rough on paws, large opening on the front and top, and easily cleaned - especially if you place puppy pads in the bottom tray.
Slightly on the smaller side but other than that its amazing. Easy to clean. Tray is hydrophobic material. Dont need litter box with this cage which is good and bad
I really like everything about this bunny kennel, but the best part is how it keeps the surrounding area clean.
I've had rabbits my entire life and always wonder why rabbit cages cannot be designed more thoughtfully for animal and owner (as, I am a product designer) - and this one IS. It's the best I've found. What I Like: 1. A Large Plastic Basin with a High Gallery Edge AND with (2) Removeable Grills (rabbits like to lay in nesting, lops like to kick it out, that'll drive an owner to the mad house). 2. A Removable Droppings Tray for Easy Cleaning (u can also buy liners). 3. 2 Large Doors (side + top). 4. Roominess (width + height) 5. A Large Mezzanine Level (so, bunny can fall alseep, this one can hold 2 buns) 6. Locking Rollers 7. A Bottom Grill that is NOT Wire (easier on their feet, and to lay). Also, was assembled easy. SUGGESTIONS for 2nd-gen design: It ideally wants a 3rd horizontal cage wire b/w the top and bottom ones (water bottles need it to perch on). Which would also provide the anchoring for a 2nd mezzanine perch. The 1st perch does not need stairs, buns just hop up... then if there was a 2nd higher perch, then possibly a set of stairs. I've rigged up my water bottle with a ribbon to suspend it and I just bought a cat hammock to provide my buns a 2nd perch;0)
Easy to assemble and the space is perfect for my hedgehog. My only complaint is the door. It keeps falling off when I feed him. It's not as secure as I would have liked. Otherwise, it's great.
There is no other bunny cage like this on the market. And I am so glad I found it. Most bunny cages have a wire floor which hurts their hocks but this cage has a smooth plastic floor with ample holes where urine and poop balls can easily fall into and leave the cage and the bunnies clean. Other cages have the litter in the cage with the bunnies which causes them to get dirty which bunnies hate and can cause sores on their hocks. Not a problem with this cage because all the litter is in a slide out drawer that sits under the cage. And its so easy to pull the tray out, dump it in a trash bag, wipe it down or wash it, and slide it right back in. With 3 bunnies, my bunny cage cleaning time has gone from 3 hours to a little over an hour. I literally cant stop singing the praises of this cage. My only complaint is the absence of hay/pellets and water feeders. The good thing is we had our own water feeders from the previous cages but I did have to buy rabbit food feeders and hay feeders to attach to the cages. And since the wires aren¡¯t set like other wire cages, its kind of difficult to find something that will fit seamlessly. We have done some creative work to attach some rabbit food feeders and hay feeders to the cage, but it would be nice for the company to have their own special design feeders that come attached to the cage. That¡¯s my only complaint, which in the grand scheme, can make these rabbit cages the best rabbit cage out there. All other designs are subpar and really dont cater to rabbits and the way they live. So if you have a small bunny, definitely get this cage or create something like this for your little furry one.
I find the grate at the bottom does not allow the poop to drop through to the removable tray, had to put a litter box in the cage which doesn't leave enough room for the food dishes and water and the rabbit, he ends up sitting in his litter box, I have yo buy/build him an enclosure outside the cage to accommodate his litter bix
