Small dog crate

BaxtersMom January 12, 2017

I am retired and always looking for a bargain. I stopped at an outdoor flea market to price a used small crate and it was $25.00 and the seller was insulted and rude when I asked if he would come down to $20.00, after all it was used. I came home so aggravated that I immediately sat down and found this NEW crate on the Wal-Mart site for $23.75 with free shipping and ordered it that instant! I am completely happy with it. It came quickly, is very good quality and no one has been rude. WINNER!

Crate

Jamaica December 15, 2016

I have a VERY sassy poodle who is the Queen of the house . This is PERFECT !! It keeps her paper shredding, candy inhaling self contained safety .! It is very sturdy , the plastic on the bottom is thick and resists even her gnashing teeth. It is ever so lovely to come home and NOT see downed baby gates .. there is no more of that crushing anxiety like seeing the swinging gates of a velociraptor pen open , and KNOWING that some where in your home ... a 7 lb raging Apricot poodle is on the loose .. Our neighborhood breathed a sigh of relief , as has the mail person who no longer lives in fear that Sipsy Le Roux will break thru' the 7 foot glass door and end their pitiful life . I highly reccomend to any one who also has a fuzzy rage monster that needs containing. The City is now safe ...

It does what it should

Reviewer July 29, 2016

This was the cheapest price I could find for this size and the quality is the same as the more expensive ones so I'm very happy. It was easy to assemble ( if you can even say it was assembling, basically you lift it up, unfolding it and latch the side together. It literally takes less than one minute )

IT'S PERFECT.

Alecia November 17, 2016

I was hesitant to purchase this but needed a crate for my puppy because she was eating up my house when I was at work. I wanted a crate big enough for her to move around in as she would be in it for 8 - 10 hours. This crate is PERFECT. " IT'S HUGH " !!!! super spacious. She relaxes on one side, plays with her toys in the middle and poops on the other side. Its perfect. It is super strong and sturdy and looks really nice too. My dog loves the crate ... she goes in it on her own, sits in her bed and plays with her toys by herself. Thank you.

Got it for my grandog visits

LindyLou January 16, 2017

I got this for when my grandog visits. When I opened the box and noticed pieces of the tray broken off. I called Walmart and was pleasantly surprised to have a new tray sent out to replace it. I was worried that I would have to return the whole crate, and that was not going to happen. It is not as thick a wire as some crates we have had, but it will do for the limited use we need it for.

Not picking up trash anymore!! :)

Me16 August 24, 2016

I got this because my 10 month old yorkie/Maltese mix.. who up to this point was a sweet housebroken little girl.. turned into a devil when the kids went back to school. Thats the only thing that changed in our lives so that has to be it! She moped and barked at the door and with the girls home she was able to go with me almost everywhere.. now that I have to leave her home more she has started to act out by tearing up every trash can in the house and she's tiny enough to fit under the doors lol so I had to do something. This cage is very sturdy and heavy built but still pretty light.. it looks nice in the house too it doesn't stand out or look tacky which I'm picky about. The only thing I don't really like is if you put any extra pressure on the doors or sides from the outside the wall you are pushing on wants to collapse! But a couple black zip ties fixed that! Very nice! (Piper just doesn't think so ;)

Good crate

Crate July 25, 2016

Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Is it built extremely well? Not necessarily. So if you have an escape artist or a large dog who doesn't care for a crate, then get something stronger. They will likely be able to bend it enough to break free. I have an 11 lb dog and this crate is perfect for him. He loves his crate, so he never tries to escape, although if he did there's a good chance he could. It's a great for the price, and the best part is it delivered the day after I purchased it. Which was a big positive for me. So if you have a dog who doesn't mind being crated and you want to save some money then I recommend this crate. Set up was fairly simple. It all pretty much pops into place.

DO NOT BUY if....

Ellie February 21, 2017

Your dog is NOT CRATE TRAINED. I bought this for my husky while I'm at work and within a week, she completely bent the bars and stuck her head through almost choking to death. She was stuck and luckily my landlord called me. However, I know it's not the cages fault but DO NOT buy if your dog isn't trained. It wasn't strong enough to contain my 65lb 11month old husky. If you have a clam older dog, this is a affordable crate with a lot of space and the two doors is a nice touch. If you are crate training, invest in a stronger slightly more expensive cage.

Dont waste your money

Lauren September 2, 2016

I bought this cahe for my husky who has anxiety, especially when we leave. We felt bad about leaving him tied up in the yard so we thought the cage would help so that he can stay inside in the air conditioning. We left him twice in it. He got out both times. The cage is flimsy and not worth it. I can easily bend it! Spend the extra money and get a stronger cage.

Flimsy, very poor quality, NOT HEAVY DUTY

Debby January 8, 2017

Do not waste your time or money if you want a heavy-duty crate, as this is described; I'm also sure the retail price is highly inflated. My medium sized dog is able to push her way right out of the XXL crate. I've owned several other crates and none have been so flimsy. I phoned the company and requested return instructions; it's been 10 days and no instructions. They are not answering their phones; I've left 2 messages and no return call. I've filed an incident report with WalMart. WalMart contacted the seller who has now provided me with a return label.
