I am working on an older truck that hasn't been used for 10 to 15 years. I was having trouble getting the brake bleeders off and getting the spark plugs out. This product did the trick on the spark plugs. It was a difficult place to get to so i took the push down sprayer off and tapped a phillips screwdriver into the top of the can where the straw comes out. Then I poured the PB Blaster into a bathroom cleaner bottle, after cleaning it very good, and used it the same way you use the bathroom cleaner to squirt around the under side of the toilet bowl. Back weather came in so I wound up waiting 6 days. But the plugs came out. The brake bleeders came out after soaking 3 or 4 times, once a day, using a socket of the specified size but I had to try different sockets of the same size to find one that provided a tight fit.
PB Blaster is a very good penetration oil that frees rusted bolts and nuts. This is the only brand I buy now as it superior to other products I have used in the past. Recommended as it works great.
PB Blaster is and has been my go-to as a penetrant. Good value, can get giant cans of it, when needed, and consistently works like expected. Good stuff.
This product is great. I've purchased it before and sprayed it on some metal items located in a crawlspace and it has been remarkably good at keeping them functioning and rust free for a least a year. Decided to spray them again as a preventative.
This is some of the best penetrating oil ever made !!!! It gets the job done when others won't. I have been using it for Over 20 Years . I was a Dealership Mechanic for for over 20 years. And I still use it today.
I was working out of state in Salem, Va and had to remove some 1/2" bolts that had water leaking on them for months. I tried heating them up, I tried another brand of penetrating spray, and nothing worked, I couldn't get them to crack loose. I shot down to Northern Tool in Salem, got a can of PB Blaster, sprayed them all, and let them sit for about 15-20 minutes, came back and every one of them loosened right up! No B.S. this stuff works! I also want to mention, I purchased a couple Klutch ratchets, and they are probably the best ratchets for the money available anywhere. They're as good as Snap-on for 1/4 of the price or less. Northern, when are you opening some stores in Michigan??
I bought this a month ago to help remove the front shocks from my truck and it worked. I though the bolts needed to be cut off, but the BP Blaster Penetrating Lithium Grease worked and did not have to be cut off. I highly recommend this product!
Very handy product. After I use my large tools such as shovels, rakes, lopping shears I like to wash them up then apply WD40 or silicone spray to protect them until future use. Lately I noticed a little rust and bought this spray and 0000 steel wool and cleaned it right up. This spray is going to help keep my tools rust free and in fine shape.
PB Blaster is great and always has been! However, the larger cans run out of pressure when getting down to the last 1/8 to 1/4 of contents! This results in opening the can to access the product.
Product did not work on my metal furnitue. I have revoling chairs that usted where one can not seivel while seated ad one should be able to. Best thing that worked to loosen the rust was an oil can and a few taps with mallot.
