PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, 16 oz

Powdered peanut butter is phenomenal. It can be used interchangeably with peanut butter. Sometimes there is a toasted peanut butter taste. A small amount of water made a difference in its consistency between being thin and not thin/creamy/thick peanut butter. The attached pictures are of the powdered peanut butter's dry and prepared forms. The nutrition facts on the label shows it being very low in fat compared to peanut butter, there is no leftover oily residue from the prepared form of powdered peanut butter. PB2 is able to be refrigerated and used as leftovers. The PB2 is easy to thin with not much added water! Ambient heat or setting peanut butter on a warm, heated object allowed the peanut butter to reach a creamy, less thin consistency without risking burning the peanut butter, which it already has a slightly toasted peanut butter taste, that is not overbearing. PB2 was a great ingredient for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

This peanut butter powder is awesome, it has a great taste actually taste like you scooped a spoon of peanut butter right out of the jar. The best part is you can add it to your coffee or shake without trying to mix creamy peanut butter. Taste great on ice cream and cake too.

Did I ever tell you how much I dislike any type of protein powder ? People will say well this one is different . Nope they all leave a horrible chemical aftertaste . Well along comes peanut butter powder . 69 calories for two tablespoons and you can add skittle wayer to use it as peanut butter or add to a recipe or smoothie etc . It's delicious and half the calories if regular peanut butter with a great flavor !

I LOVE this product ! Especially for the low fat content compared to “real” peanut butter! Wouldn't use anything else because after you mix it, it tastes just like real peanut butter but without the extra fat and calories! You can even sprinkle it into baked goods! Love it and it makes a healthy snack!

Well, of course it's not as good as real oily peanut butter, but considering that it's a lot less points if you're following Weight Watchers and it's much lower in calories it's a very good substitute.

Put it in my smoothie with frozen fruit with a little vanilla ice cream and 3 substitute sweeteners blend to thickness, and there you have it a great smoothie !!

It's a very good represent for peanut butter but you can kinda taste a difference so I wouldn't eat it by it self but it's prefect for shakes and a low cal option

I enjoy having PB2 on hand for a snack. When I mix a very little water in it I also add a little honey to make it like regular peanut butter. I use it because I am addicted to regular peanut butter and don't want to temp myself and have it on hand. I put it on rice cakes, bananas, etc.

I was a daily user of PB %26 I wanted an alternative to the regular type but with less the fat. PB2 has 1.5 grams per serving while the reg p'nut butter has 16 grams - while regular is not bad fat it is fattening. I weaned off regular for a few weeks and tried PB2 and was pleasantly surprised. A $9 dollar jar has about 32 servings so by using less often it balances out. When compared to the cost of brand name PB it is actually is a pretty fair deal. I now only use a few times a week but that fills my craving. Maybe I may finally lose my stubborn belly fat? As for taste, it is good, not as good but tasty, with a slightly bitterish, for lack of a better name, taste buy only at first -probably from the lack of sugar. My only complaint is since I only make one sandwich a day in the early am I have to make it daily. I may start making in bigger bulk to last 2-4 days. I mix with milk instead of water but I will start experimenting with variations and cooking. My advice, for your health, make the change, it's well worth it.

I made mistake about this item because I didn't see it was powdered, I must to return to the store and to change for butter. Maybe this item is good for others but I use more butter in my bread. Thanks
