PBS HDMI Streaming Stick

This is perfect for smaller kids. I was sick of my son watching YouTube and, even with the parental filter and KidsTube, there are kids cursing and being/talking disrespectful and wild. This PBS Stick did the trick! My son loves the games and shows. He's been learning so much with the educational programming and I've noticed the positive change in his behavior. No more YouTube and Roblox - only PBS Kids!

so happy to have stumbled upon this stream stick! such a lifesaver with my 2 kids, one being 3 the other 5. Before I was always searching for educational fun shows for my littles and now I feel SO MUCH more at ease knowing they are using PBS based shows and activities. Best part is they both love everything it offers so theres no sibling fighting! This is genius and pretty cheap for all the use you can get out of it.

Not really responding like I thought

I was excited to see this and eager to try it, especially since it touted "offline content." I thought it would be good for travel. Well, the offline content isn't videos, just some less-than-engaging games and songs. You do need a connection to play the content. It is cute and easy to use, but for $50, just get a Roku which does the same thing and so much more.

1) The item I received was used and dirty, which was not as advertised. 2) It has a limited number of videos loaded and required me to log into WiFi before playing, which was also not as advertised. 3) It will not load the regular video tab where the live channel is supposed to be. I've been messing with it for an hour. all other tabs, games, and videos work, but this one is unavailable.

This is trash it wont even play pbs. You cant stream it or play any videos. This product should not be sold anymore if it can't do something as simple as connecting to the Internet and playing something it's meant to play. The whole purpose of this device is to be able to stream pbs.

wanted to give 0 stars. stopped working for my autistic son after 1 day of him playing on it. i didn't even waste my time trying to send it back for a refund. just threw it in the garbage as it was TRASH!!!!! very disappointed and was so excited to order it b/c my son LOVES PBS kids.

It is way too clunky. It was not what I hoped for :( The video part never worked.

I had very high expectations, since I'm a PBS fan and supporter. As much as I'd like to love this device, it failed in many ways. It's a great idea with no follow through. The device is terribly slow, awkwardly designed, and expensive when compared to other streaming devices. Do yourself (and your children) a favor and purchase a R***u or other streaming device, then add the PBS Kids apps. You'll be glad you did.
