Although this is a quality made item, one should think about how well it can be used in individual cases. It is a dense foam rubber and will give you the 2" as it said. The vent in the back lets out the air upon sitting. It comes with velcro strips firmly sewn into the cushion that you wrap around the existing toilet seat. The limiting factor was that the opening could have been wider to accomodate the important sanitary issue of letting go body fluids to where they fall freely into the bowl. I have an elongated seat and this cushion did not come to the end nor was the opening large enough because of that. If you are recovering from a hip or knee joint replacement or dealing with an incontinence problem, the problem is, that as you come in for a landing there may not be any time to adjust your position so as to avoid the discomfort of sitting on it not square enough or being to one side and thereby soiling the apparatus itself. It was not comfortable from the moment you sat on it but rather after you were able to shift around. That's probably not a good idea for some folks with limitations.

Item was to small , There returning policy is designed so you won't send anything back. I ended up paying about $5.00 more by sending back. But if I would 'nt have would have lost original cost and stuck with item!

Poor quality. Tilted, and slippery, promotes slipping. Dangerous for elderly. Already have thrown it in trash.

good neck pillow size... not made for american size butts.. would work on a child size potty

Product was not how it looked like on the website when it came in. Wanted to return it UNUSED but they said it was not possible. I will never purchase from this marketplace and I recommend to not purchase from Walmart's marketplace again.
