I'll personally be using it to write recipes and grocery lists. I'm not sure exactly how many pages are in the notebook but it would definitely last the whole school year. Writing with pen, the ink doesn't bleed through to the next page. Overall, I'd recommend this notebook to anyone looking for something that's great quality but also cute.

It has a sturdy cloth tape like spine, and the pages don't fall out whenever you open it wide, or tear out a piece of paper like other notebooks. It's cute, with the sticks of butter on the front, and good for note taking. My daughters cat loved it so much, she laid on it when my daughter was finished with her school notes.
