To me, these are the best chocolate mint patties!

These are one of the BEST... chocolate...peppermint...smoothness...melt in your mouth candy. CONS: They just don't last very long in our house or grandpa and grandma's house or any house. FIX: Buy a bag for yourself and share them if you want (aka. code for buy 2 bags and hide one for later). I bought 2 bags last year. Shared one after dinner. Forgot about the other bag I hid in the bread drawer. A few months later, our pallets were surprised and happy again. So, what I'm saying is the candy is a savvy multiple purchase, as it doesn't spoil quickly and we didn't have to run to the store and buy another bag.

I have to hide the mints from my husband because he would eat them all up so I have to put them out a little at a time

I like them best when they are frozen. What I do NOT like is the fine print on the back of the bag that states "contains bioengineered food ingredients". I wrote the company to get the specifics on exactly what was bioengineered and why. They never answered me. I know they are using the word 'bioengineered' in place of GMO now, but I still want more specific answers than the limited 'fine printed' info. These mints are sort of addicting. Makes me wonder what else might be in them... Hmm.
