Peerless 6-Setting Shower Head in Chrome

This is my 2nd purchase of this wonderful piece of shower love!, was easy to install, just make sure you have some pipe tape and a couple of wrenches to remove your old piece. This shower head is a whole different experience from the run of the mill jailhouse special that's standard in most homes.

For the people saying that this has low pressure, you need to take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull out that water flow restrictor inside the screw in area of the shower head. I can only suggest to you to go on YouTube and search for videos " shower head restrictor removal " to learn how to do this. I have to be careful with the settings of this shower head. If set at a too high setting, it feels like 100 bees stinging you at once! My wife even suggested I put the restrictor back in! Just turn the settings to the right so it does not sting so bad. I would buy this shower head again, I would recommend it to people.

Different from the one i got several years ago, but just as good. This one says it is 1.75gpm. The last one was 2gpm, but this works just fine.

Good water pressure once you take the water restrictor tab out. Had to go on youtube to figure out how to do it.

You may want to see about drilling a larger hole in the regulator. Settings are all nice, has a quality look and feel as well.

Honest review on the Peerless 6-Setting Shower Head in Chrome. Bought and installed this on 7/20/2022.. Instruction have no mention of teflon tape so I tried without and it leaked like crazy. I then used the tape and it did not leak any longer. Note: I did have to use vhannel likes to crank it down as it did leak only being hand tight. Pressure on mine was great, no need to remove or alter anything. Time will only tell on how long it lasts. Pros Inexpensive Good flow Cons Feels cheap No mention of plumbers tape, don't forget this. Says not to use tools, but leaks otherwise.

Horrible!!! Showerhead before this one had AMAZING water pressure. My entire property HAS AMAZING water pressure. This showerhead somehow, on all settings can not get soap out of my hair???

You'll get very weak water pressure. The showerhead apparently gives 1.75 gallons/minute max (6.6 liters/minute). It's intentional that they don't mention that, nor do they label it as low flow.
