I had never driven in the snow nor needed snow chains. Bought these after reading good reviews, came before promised (I ordered express) which was a relief since we drove out to Tahoe for new years 2 days later. On our way back it snowed real good, visibility was low and I had never installed snow chains or driven in the snow. Very easy to install (practiced on driveway before leaving on trip), just followed the water resistant instructions. drove no more than 30mph and worked great, good traction and stopping. Taking them off was a little tasking because my little kia rio suv had less space to reach in due to ice build up in wheel well but came off reasonably quick and easy. Had to reinstall later on a dangerous up hill in high wind and heavy snow and cars sliding to a stop all over the highway. due to ice in wheel well it was cold and challenging but got them on with frozen hands and felt so much better to have safety chains on the drive wheels. Great investment with self locking feature being so good compared to other complicated looking contraptions.
I bought this before a recent ski trip. This chain is very easy to put on since you don't need to move the car to install it. I used it on a FWD vehicle and had very good traction on snow, even as my friends with 4WD vehicles (without snow chain) are experiencing wheel spin.
Exactly what I needed and more affordable than Amazon.com
All was good for what I needed. The only thing I didn't understand why it happened was I ordered one set however it was substituted for 2 sets of chains.
Got these for my wife's Jeep Cherokee for a pending winter trip. Had her put them on for practice in the driveway. Less than 10 minutes later they were on eazy peazy
bought one before, works well, finding the right size is a pain because there are so many numbers. the prices on this brand are too diverse, some range from 50$ to *********$
I've never purchased tire chains before, and i was blown away with quality and price, and i could not believe how easy and effective the product is...these chains are the bomb!!!
Great chain set. Tried it on but never needed to actually use for the road. Ended up returning since snow season was over early and didn't anticipate driving up to the mountains before snow melts. Highly recommend this easy to use chain set
The item didn't fit my car I would like to return for a refund.its brand new never used because it didn't fit my tires.please help me
Would have been great but they didn't fit my 205,55R,16 tires when it says it would fit that on the chart and made a super inconvenient mess for me to figure out of the side of the highway
