We recently purchased this item to dry my husbands pool shoes overnight. That is exactly what it does. It takes 8 hrs to dry a pair of wet sneakers. The dryer runs super quiet and snaps together in just a few minutes. When plugged in, it's SO quiet. we didn't know if it was running or not. There is no ON or OFF buttons. At first, we thought it didn't work at all. I emailed the PEET company website and they replied the next day. telling us it would start to blow warm air in about 5-7 minutes. It did! The PEET company website is very informative and helpful.
I just moved here to Boise ID a needed something to dry my boots because I walk in the cold and snow working for the USPS. Works great no noise what so ever and dries my boots over night. I bought this product because of the other reviews and they were not wrong.
I have used this dryer for several years and just bought 2 additional ones for work. I also have one at home. It does take some time to dry the item, usually 12-24 hours, but it is definitely worth it. Since it does dry slowly, there is no worry about shrinking or damaging the item being dried. I've dried gym shoes up to very heavy work boots and never had a problem with it working well, no hassle.
I bought this as a gift because I love the one I already have. During cold upstate NY winters, this is one of the best things to look forward to. By morning, my boots are dry and warm. And best of all, they make my boots flexible on the first step of the day! In the summer months, it's great at getting my damp shoes dried for the next wear. I honestly believe that my boots last longer because they're not rotting out from the inside by keep shoe bacteria at bay.
Two of my coworkers have a Peet boot dryers and love them. They both are avid hunters and fishermen and recommended the dryer to me. So I took their word on the boot dryer. No regrets it's an awesome product.
We have had one of these for a couple of years and our kids kept borrowing it. I got each of them one for Christmas.
This is perfect for someone who is always works outside esp. in the wet snow and rain. You will wonder how you ever lived with out it!!
I bought another brand about 8 years ago and I never could feel heat coming through it, so I returned it. After a job change i decided to try the Peet brand. Within 30 min I could feel the heat and it has been a game changer for me.
Thought it would dry them faster, after reading I found out it takes all night, it is quiet, just remember that it is plugged in.
Doesn't work! We tried reaching out to PEET with no response. It seems like they've gone in the way of everyone else and their products are losing their quality.
