Peet's Coffee Major Dickason's Blend, Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee, 32 oz Bag

I loved it! It has been my favorite coffee for years, and I'm getting it when I need it -- have moved almost totally away from Amazon because Walmart's service is worlds better!!

We use Major Dickson blend in our espresso machine all the time. We tried other kinds over the years and can't wait for the major Dickson blend coffee beans to come through again. Best ever!

Major Dickinson's blend is absolutely outstanding. Rich, smooth, and full-bodied with bold flavor. Every cup tastes perfectly balanced and consistently delicious. Easily one of the best coffees for starting the day right.

Had gone to a coffee that came in frac pacs, flavor was very good and was from a family roaster we tried while at a wedding. Had been drinking for about a year when wife said let's try Pete's Major Dickason's again. Forgot how good this was, do not mind grinding every morning.

Dark, oily beans generate a wonderful flavor - hot or cold. A Dark Blend coffee lover, I drink coffee all day. Major Dickason's Blend is now my favorite, I'll need to try Peet's French Roast, House Blend and Italian Roast but I may have discovered my new favorite.

Hey, I've been getting Major Dickson's Blend at the grocery store (when I can find it) for the past couple of years. I really love it but have the impression that it's been sitting on the shelves for a few months! I got my first subscription order a couple of days ago and it's fresh and wonderful. FYI, I'm using in my 3-cup Bialetti pot, and grind the coffee for each pot by hand just before brewing. Strong, great flavor, and with no bitter or sour taste. I'll definitely try some of your other coffees sooner or later!

Excellent coffee. My mother got me started drinking it years ago. One cup and I have been drinking it ever since. Recently the grocery shop I was buying your coffee at discontinued it. No other store in my area carries it so I started trying other brands. Nothing came close so I decided to start ordering it directly from you. Thanks for a great coffee.

I really like a dark roast with its rich flavor and chocolate-y aftertaste. If you like the Major Dickason's Blend this is a stronger option and really goes well with chocolate flavored creamers - or drink it black and chase it with an Entemann's Devil's Food Chocolate donut or two (my fave).

I had high hopes for this blend since a few members of an on-line community had recommended it, but I wasn't too impressed. It's not bad at all, just not any better than other brands, hence the average rating.

Peet's has gone steadily downhill since its days as a closely-held private company. The coffee, most importantly, remains good. But the bags often tear when opened; the tape can no longer be re-used to help seal an open bag; the included clamp is absurdly short and useless when the emptying bag is folded. The web site doesn't work properly on a tablet (e.g., the link to Shoprunner) and requires a laptop or desktop; the shipping information is wildly inaccurate, with inaccurate delivery forecasts and even claims of successful delivery days before the coffee arrives; the two days delivery guarantee through Shoprunner, even when measured from the roast date, is ignored (unlike virtually every other Shoprunner merchant). The selection of accessories, such as mugs, has been drastically reduced. And this grind, because it combines percolators and French press, is not course enough for French press.
