Major Dickason’s espresso pods
Happy with Major D’s Nespresso pods. I had purchased a cheap single serve coffee machine so I could make MD by the cup… but now I need not use a separate machine to get the excellent MD flavors.

Major Dickason’s coffee capsules are fantastic!
Major Dickason’s espresso roast capsules are fantastic. I had always heard how popular the coffee beans are to coffee lovers, so I was excited to hear it is now available in capsules for my Nespresso machine and my daily cappuccino. The intensity is an 11, which is what I like to buy, for a rich, strong, and delicious morning cappuccino. I just re-ordered a set of five boxes and it will now be a staple at my “barista bar” end of the kitchen!

Major Dickason’s blend is always right!
Always the best. Perfect blend of dark and light notes. Fresh. Consistent. Rich. Ground, whole bean or capsule. An old friend.

I was a bit hesitant because you have to order multiple boxes but was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I will be ordering this product again.

L'Or capsules experiment
Major Dickason's Blend is my favorite! Nerrisimo is a very close second. I use L'Or capsules, experimenting with espresso vs coffee capsules. Some information about the content is confusing: the coffee capsules are physically larger than espresso capsules, but not necessarily meaning more grounds content; and not explaining any difference about how tightly packed. I want strong espresso product from the brew, and also want more quantity from the brew.

Disappointed
I have long been a fan of major Dickason’s blend of Peet’s coffee — I buy the beans and make my French press every morning. Delicious, rich, satisfying never cloying or bitter. So I was thrilled to see it available as espresso pods. But the thrill was gone the moment I tasted my Nespresso-brewed coffee this morning. I could not drink more than a few sips before deciding I needed to go back to the L’Or ristretto pods. Something got lost in translation from the amazing flavor profile of the major Dickason beans or even ground coffee sold in bags and this version in the pods. But please try to tweak the product — I would Love to have the convenience of my favorite coffee in pod form!
