K-Cups are great. Brews good and taste good. Strong coffee with a sweet overtone just the way I like it. I drink doughnut shop whole bean coffee every day. Been doing this for years. I drink a lot of coffee (6 cups a day average), and have tried almost every brand out there. This is comparable to doughnut shop coffee. I could drink this every day. Peet's brews good, and the flavor is great. No bitterness left over after drinking a cup. Has a great aroma while brewing and nice dark color in the cup. Not a lot of acid in the coffee. Made espresso with it and came out very well, a lot of nice foam on the top. (That's the mark of a good coffee). I will buy this again.
I just got my k-cup brewer 4 months ago and I have tried at least 8 different kinds of coffee and was starting to think they were all going to have a watered down taste that is until I tried Peets coffee! If you like your coffee on the stronger side you will love Peets! The coffee is so bold I have to use a larger coffee mug or it's a little bit to strong for me. Which is fine as I get more coffee per cup. Even the k-cups seemed heavier like they have more coffee in them then the other brands I have tried. I compared them to 3 other major brands I had on hand and they were indeed heavier. My guess is they put more coffee in the k-cups then other brands. The coffee is not bitter and I can drink it with just a little creamer. It's great for that afternoon pick me up cup of coffee. I would highly recommend this coffee to anyone who likes a nice bold cup of coffee.
My husband and I absolutely love this coffee. We both agree it has a kick to it that really gets you going. It has a strong nutty flavor and it is delicious. It's not like other coffees that taste bland but rather it has a kick to it that you can really taste the coffee in this blend. My husband and I both agree that we will not drink this coffee at night time but rather only in the morning, as the blend really gets you going and keeps you active and you don't want that feeling at night when you're trying to get to sleep. As you can see from my submitted photo, my husband gives it a thumbs up for flavor, texture and an overall coffee that really is good.
The K-cup that I tried was the Peet's Coffee Brazil Minas Naturais Medium Roast. On my Kurig I can adjust how much coffee I can get so I put mine to 12oz. The taste was nutty yet sweet. I did add some almond milk to my cup as I usually don't drink my coffee black. For those that are into sweet coffee without having to add any sugar this is the one for you. It's nutty, earthy, yet tropical flavor will not disappoint. This will now be my "go-to" K-Cup for now on and I'll be telling my friends all about it.
What a delightful surprise. This is a medium roast coffee that really satisfies. I am really impressed by this brand, Peets Coffee. I have also tried a decaffinated coffee by this same brand and was also blown away. I really didn't expect this coffee brand to be able to compete with the Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and other popular brands but they really give them a run for the money. This brand is much more economic and in these times I think we can all appreciate a little savings here and there. Especially me, coffee is a staple and runs out like water in my household. We have three adults in the household who have at least 3-4 cups a coffee per day and the concensus was unanimous. As a household we have found our new coffee. We are thrilled with the flavor, aroma, price and best of all, available at our favorite store, WalMart. I love coffee from Brazil, I think its better than Columbia, which we all know are also well know for the coffee. I prepared the coffee for my best friend who is a coffee lover without revealing it was a new brand. She enjoyed the cup of coffee so much she asked what kind was it. Needless to say, she will also be a new Peet's customer and fan. I also took a few to work and received the same response. We are also changing to this coffee in the office and will try it's other roasts. Definitely give it a try you will be glad you did. Enjoy!
I love coffee. I try many different brands in search of a good cup of coffee. I tried Peet's in hopes that it would be a decent cup of coffee. It was more than decent. It was surprisingly delicious. It is a medium blend. Now, some medium blends are either too weak or too strong. This is full bodied as they say. A nice blend of ingredients. Whatever Peet's is doing it works. I absolutely love this coffee and put it on my shopping list. I'm going to try other blends but this works. Again, I tried it on two family members which I like to do to get another opinion and to see if I'm over reacting or it's as good as I think it is. (Or as bad). These two members will tell me exactly how they feel and that is why I include them in my testing. They loved the coffee. Now I have to hide it until I get more. No, seriously, it's good and the fact I can try these products before I buy them allows me to save money on any items I deem lousy or I dislike at the very least. It has a slightly nutty flavor. No, not like hazelnut or anything overbearing like that but a nice flavor. You have to try it to understand what I mean. It is a great coffee flavor and not overwhelming. Just a good all around cup of coffee. There is no after taste or bitterness. I know that some coffees can give you a bitter after taste and sometimes acid reflux. This does neither. One of my family members can't drink just any coffee because of acid reflux but this did not affect them. It's a very good coffee to have anytime night or day which I do. Can't say much more than that. I like it.
I have enjoyed Peet's Brazil Minas Naturais Medium Roast Coffee. The coffee has a bold rich flavor. While the cup is brewing, you will smell the goodness of the coffee. It is a bolder brew because of the coffee bean and not the roasting. You know how some coffee are dark but when you taste it, it has a burnt taste. I do not use cream or sugar in my coffee, so I'm judging straight up coffee. I enjoy the coffee and gave some to my daughter in-law. She felt it was a bit strong for her liking, so she makes a large cup and a small cup to fill her travel mug. A touch of cream and sugar and it is perfect for her.
I was reluctant to try a new coffee as I was pretty set with the brand I currently used... The first cup I fixed, my brain had already determined I wasn't going to enjoy it... but before I was finished with that cup... I was sold! I had another and it was even more delicious than the first... my brain was convinced!!! The coffee was a mild smooth flavor that was a bit to the bold side, but not strong... full flavor without being overwhelming!!! I suppose you really have to try it to understand! I am sure this is by far the best cup of coffee I can make at home!!! Give it a try... I am sure you will understand!
I ordered this product in medium roast beacuse I'm one of those people who likes coffee with their cream and sugar:-) So, I don't like the taste of black or really strong coffee. I'd never seen this brand but thought I would give it a try. Anyway, this coffee in the medium roast is very rich and robust. It's nice and strong but not to the point where it has that bitter taste. My husband really likes it as he drinks his coffee black with just a teaspoon of sugar. He's not as picky as I am; I just like what I like. I love that there are 16 k-cups as opposed to the 12 you get with the other brands. I actually like this better than two other brands I've tried, Folgers being one of them (not sure if I can say that). If you like a really robust, sort of nutty flavor to your coffee then this one rivals the national brands that can be even more expensive. My husband and I are enjoying it every morning.
My husband and I enjoy using K-cups and trying different types and flavors. We got the Peet's Coffee Medium roast and we tried it. It was pretty good but I feel that it was lacking the full coffee flavor. Don't get me wrong, it was good but my husband and I have used other K-cups that had more of a rich, full flavor. I would recommend my family and friends to try it as some of them enjoy a coffee that isn't as strong as we like it.
