My only negative comments are with regard to the booklet of directions and one of the fittings for assembling the tractor. The tractor is very true to life and amazing! I don't expect the assembly directions to be simple for such a realistic and functional item. However, the directions are given in pictures only. I've put together baby's and children's toys/cribs/strollers/climbing apparatus/etc. for over 8 years now and have, reasonably, accomplished the new (even if extremely aggravating!) assembly-without-words routine. This particular assembly, however, would have been much less aggravating and time-consuming with at least minimal written directions. I understand, as a cost savings to the manufacturer, pictogram directions require no translation into a multitude of different languages thereby saving printing costs for a company that ships these items worldwide. By all means, charge me the extra nickel it costs to print written directions - plus markup. It's worth it to the consumer. The longer metal rod that connects through the front of the tractor at the 'scoop arm' is very difficult, if not impossible, to get to connect to the metal 'button' fittings. If the rod were 1/4" longer, the buttons would be able to be fastened with ease and without sacrificing any of the working features of the tractor. Overall, the tractor is great! Just be sure to allow PLENTY of time for assembly.

Bought this for my daughter and son (twins) for their 3rd birthday (one, they share). They went crazy over it and still do every day since. We've had it for about two weeks now. They have a battery powered motorcycle which is slower in power than this. This seems better and more age appropriate. Not too fast and we have not done the second setting yet. The forward and reverse are teaching them how to drive LOL. My son is mastering k-turns. They are truly enjoying this tractor (very much like daddy's!) and "racing" with daddy. My son always wins of course. This is an awesome product, easy to handle, assembly not too bad but lengthy, and the enjoyment of children is priceless. After googling around for a long time, this is the cheapest place I found. Well worth it!

this is so cute looks like a real one. He loves it!! he is 6 and he handles it very well.the tractor does have a safety lock that has to be removed with a screw driver for the young ones. you can even add a trailer to the back. this is perfect for every John Deere fan!! the tractor does handle well when it carries something in the bucket.

My daughter loves this tractor and drives it all over the yard/farm area. It goes plenty fast and the battery lasts longer than I expected. The only complaints I have are that the loader bucket doesn't latch up, its just spring loaded, and the geometry is a little off so it doesn't really allow it to dump into anything, it has to dump at ground level. Also due to how the loader is mounted, it is difficult to open the hood to access the battery and cables to charge it. None of that is a huge deal, just annoying and makes the loader not very useful except to carry very light things in.

My three year old got this for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. The battery last alot longer than most riding toys I have seen. The only problem is that the rod that makes the bucket work won't stay in place. It is easy to fix but is a pain to have to do all the time.

This is a cool little toy. My grandson loves it. The only thing grandma doesn't like is the difficulty of recharging the battery. It's located under the "hood" and you have to disengage the bucket and lift the hood off to get to the battery. Then when charged you have to put it all back together again. But for it's purpose of giving a little boy (or girl) hours of fun it most certainly is living up to that.

Horrible directions took 6 hours to assemble, poor quality some parts had to tear apart from cheap tabs. Nothing extra on it at all just battery and drive

The tractor was flimsy and poorly constructed. The hardware that came with the product was incomplete and discolored as if it had been weathered. The 11 inch bar that the loader pivoted on was to short and I was unable to secure it. I contacted customer service and the lady told me to compress the plastic. Putting a hundred pounds of pressure on the tractor side I was still unable to secure the rod. There customer service was useless and told me just to take it back to Walmart. I had purchased their products in the past but never again.

I wouldn't even give this a one star if that could be an option. No decal stickers were provided once it was taken out and put together. Then after letting the battery charge for the time it said, it wouldn't go when the pedal was pushed. Only go a little bit randomly when the pedal was pushed. Unfortunately we had a very disappointed little boy.

First of all there was a missing part for my sons 2 year old birthday!! Secondly the pedal is very hard to push to make it go. It basically will only go on completely flat surfaces like a paved drive way. My child has a tractor, he would like to ride it in the GRASS!! Too bad, because the back right wheel just sits there and spins while the other wheels do not do anything at all. If you want to buy something for just looks this is the only reason I would recommend this product. It is very cute and would be great if it actually worked!!! BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!
