Fantastic kayak paddle
This is an excellent paddle, even if you're not using it for fishing. The ruler marks make a handy reference to make sure your grip is symmetrical. It's light and solid and is great for both kayaking and sit-down paddleboarding.

Solid Paddle
Seems well built. Paddles well, but I have not had a chance to use the lure retriever notches yet. Ruler on shaft is tough to use to actually measure fish, but it works if need be.

Mismatched Paddle Colors!
Overall, I am happy with the quality of the paddle and length. The reason for a 4-star vs 5 is the price and the different paddle colors. Be aware that one is blue and the other is camo - I didn't catch that when I ordered the paddle and when I received it I thought it was a shipping error. I'm not really sure who in the Pelican marketing department thought this would be a good idea but it looks goofy. I would have preferred that my paddle colors matched - either both blue or both camo! I've had several people ask me why I mismatched paddles, lol.
