Nice and soft works great for the masks. Especially for the kids masks it doesn't hurt there ears.

inconsistent width
You can't count on the width of this elastic. I ordered 1/4 inch and received 1/8 inch. I see another purchaser ordered 1/4 inch and received 1/2 inch. I had gotten some 1/4 inch before and liked it for masks. It does stretch a bit, but that makes it a bit more comfortable than the stiffer kind.

Not worth it.
It arrived in 20-25 days or so. And packed separately. What's the logic in that no idea. This product is made extremely cheaply. Also came damaged. While I terribly need it to finish what I have started, it will absolutely lower the quality of my products. Cancelling my Walmart membership altogether for this unpleasant experience.

Way too big for a 1/4 inch looks more like a 1/2 inch stretches out too not ideal for mask making
