I used this on a dog bed and it rebounds really nicely after a dog sleeps on it and fluffs back up nicely. It is a little more effort, although not much, to stuff inside because it is little fluffy fiber that is slightly stuck together. Just leave your opening large enough so you can stuff easier. A little 1" or 2" opening would be time consuming and tedious.
I have been surprised that this has not been a huge seller in the stores! I first purchased it on a whim at a fabric store and have only used this product ever since then. The only thing I can figure out is that it is composed of very small pieces which can be a bit more tedious when stuffing a pillow, etc. But the end result is totally worth it! The pillow is soft & fluffy, not clumpy anywhere, perfectly stuffed!
I use this form of fill for my household pillows, because it maintains its loft well, and is completely machine washable and dryable. The individual clusters will eventually flatten down just a little bit, especially in a small flat pillow that gets a lot of pressure, such as a lumbar pillow or a chair seat pillow. But it is still much better than standard poly fills, which will clump when washed and dried, and are hard to distribute so that the fill is even and fluffy and bouncy -- standard poly fill must be packed tightly to appear even, and this does not make a comfortable pillow with "give". I have even re-used somewhat "flattened" cluster fill in a new pillow, and it's just as comfy as one could desire.
I've used cluster stuffing before (it was called Cluster Stuff at that time) and loved it. It's still my go-to for stuffing for most projects. It is rolled into tiny little balls so it won't bunch up in to weird shapes when you wash it and so far has been very durable. I haven't found a better stuffing.
For soft, washable with long lasting fluffiness… this is the product!!!
Light, fluff, soft stuffing material. Washes without clumping which is important. Super for stuffing pillows Seems a little pricey, but well worth it Been using it for bone shaped pillows
This stuff is great. I actually made a bed pillow with it. I'm super picky about pillows and could not find any I liked in down or poly fill. I read about cluster-filled hotel pillows but they were expensive so I made my own. It's incredibly soft, and you can shift the fill for variable support. I used about 1 and 1/4 packages for a standard size pillow. Better than any expensive pillow for a fraction of the price.
This stuffing is fluffy and doesn't flatten out quickly. The small pieces inside allow for easy readjustment of stuffing
I bought this online, and as soon as I opened the box, I found lots of little and a few quite big pieces of dirt, debris, and dead bugs inside the unopened bag, mixed in with the fiber fill. There was dirt and bugs scattered throughout the ENTIRE bag from top to bottom. UNACCEPTABLE! It was a good price and incredibly soft, but since I was going to use it for stuffed animals and pillows, I HAD to return it. Extremely disappointed!
This product, along with others arrived promptly but, unfortunately the bag of Fiber Fill was ripped open and I had to scoop all the fiber fill up and put it in another bag. This stuff clings so all the other products in the box were covered with fiber fill. What a mess ! This is not the first time I had a question about the packers. I have received large boxes, filled with brown packing paper for one small article. What a waste of money. Maybe someone should be over seeing the packing department.
