PELZIN Stoutwool Indestructible Dog Bed - Fluffy Chew Proof Dog Crate Pad - Tough Kennel Pad for Aggressive Chewers - Washable, Ideal for Large Breeds & Fits 36-Inch Crate - 35"x22", Charcoal

The intended purpose of this mat was a liner for our new puppy's crate. Instead, it became a resting place for our 3-yr old of the same breed (Samoyed) to chew on his bones. He is normally not interested in sleeping on dog beds. He chews holes in them. He was instantly curious about the new “thing” lying on his floor and proceeded to plop his body right on it and do his crossy paws pose. The texture is like a soft Brillo pad, not sharp, just more coarse than fleece. The size is perfect. Coda is 80 lbs. Neither pup has been tempted to chew this bed. Win win!! All in all I would recommend it, but as with most things, there is no guarantee that all purchasers will experience the same outcome. Thanks for reading. Have a great day!!

Very nice. Should have brought one size larger.

Loved it they cannot chew them up

I have a 6 month old red heeler puppy who's a power-chewer and thankfully he hasn't been able to destroy this crate pad like he has a lot of other ‘tough' toys…and believe me he's tried! It fits his crate well and is plush, but sturdy.

This pad is tough... our little 10 lb. Australian shepherd managed to shred standard bedding nightly. This pad holds together fairly well but he has managed to pull quite a bit of wool fuzz out of it. I like that it can be tossed into the washer and dryer without harming the integrity of the pad. This was the best value for a properly sized pad for our puppies crate.

Good enough if you need something that your dog can't destroy, bit does not offer much in the way of comfort. I would describe it as more of a dog mat than a dog bed.

dog enjoys it and it has held up very well

Received damaged, but Pelzin is having Walmart send me a new one as part of their "warranty" program. I can appreciate the great service. I think the sewing machine just missed the edge that was open??? Otherwise seems like a good product, but I can't comment on the wear of it until I put it to use. I just know that I need to stay away from crate items that have stuffing, mattress pads, or loose edges. "Indestructible" dog items cower at the site of my dog while in his crate. He treats beating up, chewing on and scratching it to pieces until the "snow party" comes into play with any dog beds that I have tried in the past as an Olympic sport. We'll see. I'll update the review as needed.

My dog destroyed it. Waste of money
