Pendaflex Essentials K-17M-OX Expanding File Letter, Brown, 12 Pocket

I utilize the Pendaflex Essentials (K-17M-OX) expanding file folder to arrange all my monthly paid invoices. First, all invoices are placed in my Globe-Weiss Everday File and Fast Sorter by date and once I receive acknowledgment of payment the paid invoices are relocated to the Pendaflex Essentials (K-17M-OX) expanding file folder where I write the year on the outside of expanding file folder. This procedure is essential during tax season to retrieve itimized or donation information.

I keep my tax records together in these folders. I have used this type of folder with a lid for many years. Very satisfied with this brand.

I needed this file folder for annual taxes. I ordered from my computer and a few days later it was on my front porch.

Just what I needed.

This will work OK for my purpose, storing bills and receipts for the year, especially since there are now very few options. However, what I received is not as pictured, with the staggered tabs in increasing lengths, but instead has uniform tabs with the names of the months all in a line front to back on the left side. See picture. I would most prefer an older version, not available any longer, that had household category labels. So I had to create my own labels and paste over the month names.
