My seven year old issues this for his journal entries. I love how smooth your pen glides over the surface of the paper. It's nice to be able to tear out pages if he makes a mistake. The lines on this paper are always solid and never choppy which in some other brands is a very big problem.
I love the Pen & Gear notebooks. The spirals come in wide or college ruled which are perforated for easy tearing. These are great for my 3 highschoolers & my elementary age students. They also have the school required composition notebooks (not perforated). I also like to use these for note keeping. There are several different colors to choose from as well which makes everyone happy!
This wide-ruled notebook has met all my writing expectations. It has held up well and turning the pages is smooth as well (good spiral). I have used Pen + Gear before and this brand is always consistent, plus a price performer. I will continue to use this brand when I need a spiral bound notebook
This is your average notebook. I don't notice much difference in this brand with any other. The pages are standard size and the notebook seems like it will hold up for the remainder of the school year. I'm not a fan of the color red so I would choose a different color next time.
This notebook is wide ruled and has pages that are made to be torn out if necessary. I like to have these handy and have found it useful to have one in my kitchen drawer. The kids like the wide ruled notbooks to practice their alphabets and write sentences at school.
Use this for my 7 year old for school, he likes it likes the different color varieties available, easy to tear pages out for use, or even leave the attached as the book itself stays together and is good quality! Comes with a good amount of papers to last a while
I'm a card maker and I go through a ton of notebooks because I have to constantly write what products I use for each of my card designs and the companies I work for. So having these 70 sheet wide-ruled notebooks make keeping track of things a whole lot easier for me. Red is one of my favorite colors, so that's a plus along with the easy tear pages this Pen&Gear notebook has. I keep these on hand year-round and it's certainly perfect for my kids to use at school as well- I haven't had any teachers or professors complain about the notebooks my boys use, so it's a win-win for us!
The quality of this spiral is excellent. I have kids in elementary and high school and these are an absolute necessity. It's exactly what they need and I appreciate they are made in the USA.
This is a Pen and Gear brand spiral. It's a single subject with 70 sheets and this one is wide ruled. The pages are perforated for easier removal without tearing your page. I still had to go slow to make sure not to tear the paper but it's nice to have a clean edge and not 33 little holes ripped out. The front cover is cardboard as is the back. The pages are a regular weighted paper. It is perfect for school needs.
This is just a very typical wide-ruled notebook. It's Pen & Gear so it's a good brand. The front cover isn't flimsy so I'm not worried about it ripping off all the time. The back though is a pretty thin piece of...cardboard I guess is what it is, but it's really just a tad thicker than the front cover, so that I will worry about ripping off. My 8 year old uses this to draw her pictures and write pretend things in, so I don't need a thick one that's going in and out of a school bag every day. The paper itself is okay, it's not incredibly smooth to write on but it's perfect for an 8 year old to play in. If this was being used by an adult, I wouldn't go above 2 stars.
