We bought these to be a part of our church's Free Backpack/supplies giveaway. Our congregation fills 288 backpacks and then adds a New Testament Bible, a Prayer Letter, and our P.A.C.K. Connect Card. The Card declares Jesus as the true source with an invite on the back. An expression of His love %26 grace as none of this can be earned or bought at any price. These sharpeners were a great addition to our gift of Jesus to the people of our community!

After decades of using this kind of sharpener, I had the bad idea of buying an expensive electric sharpener for "convenience.' It sharpened 8 pencils and went out. I will stick to these that work. Never had one that failed-lasts years.

These cheap little things are the absolute BEST! They don't keep breaking the lead so you keep sharpening your pencil, and it gets smaller and smaller. I don't know what type of engineering goes into making a simple pencil sharpener but these are the best I have ever seen and I buy them all the time because everyone steals them from my desk!

This is an amazing value. School supplies are subject to increasing prices as everything else. This hand held, manual pencil sharpener has a 2 hole design to accommodate the standard and jumbo sized pencils. A clear body enables you to know when to empty the shavings. It's compact size fits easily in pencil cases. I'm filling backpacks with school supplies for donations. Don't pass these up.. WORTH NOTING, I was able to fill all 8 (Wonder Nation backpacks $4.97) with all these supplies (Pen Gear brand) ordered online (I think it is less $$$ than buying in-store) for $110.00, that's under $14.00 a piece including the backpacks! I did divide the pencils, pens, glue sticks, highlighters and erasers up between the 8. A lot of items were under $1.00, and some 50 cents or below!! Okay, all the hard work has been done for you, now GET SHOPPING!!!

Easy to use!.....Sharpens with ease! ...Lid isn't really tight but i am careful and have had no issue with it coming off while using.....have used on %232 pencils and colored pencils so far..... Both types turned out with nice sharp points that are not so long they break as soon as it is used ... Great for school, home or office! ...Good price!

This little manual pencil sharper is the well worth the 88cents I paid for it! I wanted to have an extra, simple sharper for our vacation home and this does the trick! You can empty it at your leisure to keep it clean and I am very happy with my purchase.

It’s bulky and thin, easy to break for a young child. Bought two, first one wasn’t for some reason stopped sharpening after a couple of weeks. The second is still working. I guess they are good for the price you pay, but I would recommend paying a little more and purchasing a better one.

Like how easy it would be to use, but unfortunately my large pencil is larger and wouldn't fit into the hole. Definitely like the case that catches the residue while emptying.

I don't understand all of the 5-star reviews, it wouldn't even come close to sharpening the color pencils that I ordered, I had to buy a different one tonight, it hasn't come yet, but this one is a joke, but I am not laughing about it.

a family member has a pen GEAR sharpener that I was always borrowing. it sharperned every color pencil perfectly. i saw them at walmart and bought a six pack. They however do not sharpen well reducing my pencils to stumps every time..i dont know if mine are a bad batch or if this product is no longer a quality product.
