I recently received the ‘Pen + Gear Dark Fabric Transfer Paper for Colored Fabrics, 8.5 x 11' for review purposes. You guys, I LOVED this product and have no hesitations on utilizing it for future projects. Call me old school, but the last time I used a printable iron on transfer – it made the shirt stiff and bulky (like gluing a piece of cardboard to the chest of the shirt.) This product is neat! It's thin, soft, prints well, and is super easy to apply with the included parchment/overlay paper. All in all, Pen + Gear Dark Fabric Transfer Paper for Colored Fabrics is a great addition to my DIY closet.

This fabric transfer is so cool and really easy to do. I needed a little bag to put my personal things inside my diaper bag so I went to the craft store to look for a black little fabric bag but no luck so I bought the natural color. I figured It wouldn't really matter plus I was super excited about trying this out. I read the instructions and did exactly as it said and my results were awesome. The instructions are step by step so you won't have any problems its super easy. It comes with 10 so you can do so many things. Just remember your iron may be hotter than others so really follow the time guide you don't want to ruin your image.

I've never tried fabric transfers before. These fabric transfers feature a fade resistant coating for long-lasting results. They are easy to use and compatible with any inkjet printer! So easy peasy! I read the instructions on the website before ordering, it sounded easy enough. But I was happy that it included detailed instructions! Dark transfers are opaque after ironing meaning the background of the design will remain White. If you're looking to make some custom shirts try these transfers! Highly recommend!

I do personalized shirts for different occasions so I have a good experience sing transfer papers. This Fabric Transfer Paper is great! They are very easy to use, the thickness is good quality which makes my shirts look amazing and high quality, is very easy to use, after washing the shirt the picture looks the same and it didn't fade, I had tried many different brands and this is the best one so far. The instructions are very easy to follow. Pictures look very realistic.

We love it! My two teenage daughters now want me to purchase another pack so they can personalize their clothes. My youngest daughter, 13, was supper excited because the Kpop group she likes ship items from overseas and the wait time is crazy.. so I created a short with a picture of her in it and she is absolutely in love. Also great for personalizing gifts. I added a picture of a shirt my 13 year d put together for her sister. She also asked me purchase some pillow cases haha. Super easy to do and the quality is so good

This review is about the Pen+Gear dark fabric transfers. The pack of transfers that I have contains 10 transfer pages and comes in a reusable packet. Each transfer sheet is 8.5in x 11in (21.6 cm x 27.9 cm). These transfers are designed to be used on dark colored fabrics. The packet also contains complete instructions that should be read before use, for best results. These dark fabric transfers are amazing and convenient. I have used the Pen+Gear dark fabric transfers a few times and I am completely satisfied with this product. This item is intended to be used with inkjet printers. The transfers are opaque after ironing, which means that any area left blank will remain white even on dark colors. This brand of dark transfers can also be used on white/light colored fabrics but you will still see the unprinted white areas of the transfer on the fabric. Any borders around your design will show up as white on dark fabrics, and the borders are still visible on light fabrics but a little less noticeable. This package of fabric transfers also includes one sheet of reusable overlay paper which acts as a barrier between the iron and the transfer. When using the Pen+Gear dark fabric transfers, 100% cotton or a cotton/poly blend material is recommended for best results. The instructions/faq's mentions that these transfers are able to be used with desktop die-cutting machines which seems pretty cool if you are familiar with the machines. I highly recommend this product and I am very excited to have it. This is an interesting, well-designed, and easy-to-use item for professionals or the less experienced (such as myself) because it is easy to work with and it gets easier to use every time it's used. This item is a great gift idea or it can be used to create even more gifts.

The dark fabric transfers package has 10 sheets to do 10 designs on t-shirts or other cotton fabric. The transfer sheets work with your inkjet printer and print out correctly. Some instructions are on the package and there are more detailed instructions inside the package. Since I have never done this craft the instructions were extremely helpful. There is also several sheets with frequently asked questions for using the dark fabric transfers. The hardest thing I had to do is pick a design I wanted on the t-shirts. The transfer process was easy after setting up the area on a table you will be using. Just read the instructions to know how to do it and get the results that you are wanting. Be sure to do a test print on paper of your design you created before using the transfer sheets so you don't waste them. Before you iron on your design you need to trim the borders on the transfer sheet. You might need to cut out the design you picked. Remember that if you have white on the design that the shirt color will probably come through the design. My designs were solid colors except for white borders on the sheets which I trimmed off.

These transfers helped me get my younger kids to wear their masks. I let them pick some pictures, resized them and ironed them onto some black cotton masks. They attached so quickly and they have stayed thru at least one wash, some 2. I don't know how long these will stay on the masks since they have to be washed often but I haven't seen any issues yet. The only trouble I had was in printing. I have a top load printer. The printer pulled the transfer paper in partly but stopped pulling it and printed on only part. This happened twice. I've found that when it starts to pull it in sometimes you have to push a little on the paper to be sure it's being pulled into the printer enough. These are a lot of fun and my kids want to put pictures on more things now.

I thought this would be fun to use for my teenage son's drawings. He created this fun character and I printed it out with the Pen & Gear Dark Fabric Transfer paper with my canon Printer - It was super easy to use and printed wonderfully. I happen to be a crafter so I have a machine that cuts out the image shape for me and then we placed it on a long-sleeved Mustard colored blank shirt - I heated up my iron by following the enclosed directions and proceeded to iron it on - It worked easily and my son loves the fact that an image he created is now on a shirt he can wear! I had no issues with washing it either - It stayed intact and his design still looks great after 2 washes! We have plans to make a couple more shirts with other designs he's made!

I'm experienced with these products, and followed directions carefully. I wanted to love this paper. Unfortunately, I hated it. Remainder of package will only be suitable for tees that will be worn once, don't need to look great. Completely ruined one tee shirt. The surface of the paper feels granular, and I experienced flaking in some spots on some pages. Not every sheet, or every area on a sheet, has this issue, so it leads me to believe there is inconsistency in manufacturing. My Silhouette Cameo also hated the product. Cut some places well, just pulled and tore in others. Again, seems like the manufacturing is inconsistent. I did the same design on another brand of transfer paper, immediately afterward with no issues, so it is not my Cameo or my blade. The paper is also not suitable for multi paper transfers, where you make intricate cuts, and "pick up" the weeded design with heat transfer tape. This transfer paper, unlike any others I have used, will not release from the transfer tape after pressing. Product ruined. Last, it adheres to the fabric very inconsistently. Some places on my single tee I ruined for the test, the transfer paper adhered perfectly. Other places, on the same tee, it would not adhere at all. I used a heat press, pad and timer. I did not end up with any products suitable for use after 3 sheets .
