Back to school teacher request requested
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great notebook, and had thick cover that was durable. It had good amount of paper/ pages. I would purchase this notebook again. It was handy to have around the house, and never got damaged
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a sturdy notebook and did its job. Not much else to be said. I liked the color and it's size is easy to grab and go. It's a great stylish option if you care about that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good notebook to use for school, work, or just taking notes in general. Good packaging the cover keeps the paper nice and clean. Easy to throw in a bag and take with me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic cover seems to be more durable than the hard cardboard counterpart. The notebook pages aren't too thin which is great. Very versatile with anyway you want to use it, since it doesn't look like a typical school notebook. The cover is plain which is great, since I can decorate it how I want. I do also love that it was sustainable sourced and it has the “sustainable forestry initiative” stamp on the label. I don't like that the cover isn't recyclable, but it's not a deal breaker. I really love it! I'm using it for recipes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont normally use composition notebooks, but they are perfect for my 3 year old since the pages are hard to tear out. The cover is very durable (with a plastic coating) great value for the money - im assuming very economical friendly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher, I'm always on the lookout for quality notebooks that my students can use, and this Pen+Gear notebook is a winner! Pen+Gear is a trusted brand that I personally use and love, so I'm happy to have these notebooks in my classroom. The paper is durable, which is perfect for withstanding daily use. Plus, the size is ideal for taking notes and completing assignments. A great choice for any student!
nice, does the job, would like a solid cover, but ok.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Pen + Gear journal for a few weeks now, and for the price, it's surprisingly good. Pros: • Affordable: It's one of the most budget-friendly journals out there. • Sturdy cover: The hardcover version holds up well in a bag or backpack. • Paper quality: The pages are smooth and handle ballpoint, gel, and even some fountain pens without too much bleed-through. • Layout options: Comes in lined, dotted, and unlined formats—great for notes, bullet journaling, or sketching. Cons: • Binding: Not as durable as premium notebooks. With heavy daily use, the spine may start to wear. • Paper weight: Heavier inks or markers can ghost or bleed through a bit, so it's not ideal for art-heavy journaling. • Design: Pretty basic. If you're looking for aesthetic flair, this one's more functional than stylish. Bottom line: If you need an inexpensive, reliable journal for everyday use—school notes, planning, journaling—the Pen + Gear journal does the job well. It's not a luxury notebook, but it's a solid choice for the price. ⸻ Would you like a shorter version for a social media post or a comparison with another brand (like Moleskine or Five Star)?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size for anything from school to journaling. I love the cover is plastic. Makes it very sturdy. The paper is Greta I was writing on it with no bleed through from my gel pens. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars was when you open it the center binding has little to no give to lay flat for ease of writing. It will fold back over and close.
