I have been ordering this brand for years it's my go to every time.
This is 60 sheet of 80 lb cardstock. It is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. It accepts crayon, colored pencil, marker & ink from our printer very nicely. I could not get this to run well through our HP printer for some reason. It kept jamming. I thought our printer could use this thickness. I must be wrong. This is the perfect paper for a rustic bridal shower invitation or any invitation for that matter. Very nice & easy to cut with our large bladed paper cutter. Great for crafts too!
The Pen + Gear Kraft card stock paper worked perfect for my craft projects. It is very sturdy and high quality paper. I love how great it works in my desktop cutting machine. Every project I have made turned out perfect. I have used other stock paper and was not satisfied. I definitely recommend this paper.
I have a canon pixma inkjet printer. I printed on it using the print then cut function for cricut, but did not realize that (explore air and explore air 2) is only able to do print then cut on white paper. I honestly have had my cricut for years and never knew this. Apparently though, there is a hack for this on YouTube, I have not tried it but it seems like it would work. I did find out, that the cricut maker can print then cut on colored paper (I don't have that machine yet). Despite that, there are many other uses for this paper so, it was not a waste. I only tried printing on it with black ink so I'm not sure how other colors would look. I was a little nervous that 80lb would be a tad too thick since I usually print on 65lb cardstock, but it was a little thinner than I expected, so it went through just fine. I let it dry once it print, just in case. This paper is so versatile. I've always wanted to print things on kraft paper but never tried it because I didn't think it would work. It's a little lighter, as far as color goes, than I was expecting. The kraft paper I normally see, is darker, but I'm ok with it. I tested out making some Christmas tags and a card. I would have to cut the tags out by hand so I only cut one so far. Definitely recommend.
This card stock paper is very sturdy but not too thick. It goes through the printer very well without jamming it up. I bent it in half then opened it and it laid flat. I took a black sharpie marker and marked on it to see if it would bleed through and it didn't. Very good card stock paper!
I love all kinds of crafting. Working with card stock is new to me. My plan is to use these to make hand painted Christmas cards. I will use acrylic paints, watered down. My first try came out pretty good. I love the natural color of the card stock because I love all things rustic. Also love things that are simplistic. These are difficult to find in premade cards. Hope the recipients will enjoy them.
Love this "paper"!! The minute I received the light brown, firm paper and, with basic instructions on how to make my own Greeting Cards, I got busy testing it with my Copier Machine; low and behold, I had easily managed two Birthday Cards for my twin brothers!! I didn't know this could be so easy; and I am the type of person who has no artistic skills. It was very easy. In fact, my twin brothers, Joe and John asked me if I did these myself and I probably told them Yes!! They were most definitely impressed!!
I am a crafter. I have purchased other craft paper, but the ink did not stay and rubbed off. This one the ink stayed, but it did curl after printing which I was able to flatting it by placing books on it and bending it. I have a laser printer. I used the paper in the printer to print out a pattern of 25 stars. I put a few sheets in at a time as the paper is thicker than copy paper. However, I am not sure if it would be nice for printing wedding invitations as advertised since the paper shape did change. The paper cost more than the other brand I used but as noted above the other ink rubbed off. It is a nice weight for crafting. The color is lighter than the brown craft paper but a nice color and I am still in the process of making my craft but so far all seems well.
This is really nice if you like making cards and other crafts. The quality was good! And was easy to work with. It would be really nice for kids crafts and teaching them how to make cards for Christmas, thank you cards, or just thinking if you cards.
The only reason this paper didn't get 5 stars is that I had issues with my printer wanting to accept it and there was some difficulty with the feeder but other than that it's a nice product. First off, this product has an FSC mixed label which means the paper is made from materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, or and/or FSC controlled wood. Basically, this means the paper source didn't kill off any trees just to make this paper. You can tell by looking at it, it's made from some recycled product and that's a good thing! Both the packaging and the paper can be recycled. This paper is an extremely sturdy 80lb cardstock. Shapes could be cut from this and used for any number of projects. I haven't used it for anything yet other than one greeting card to test out the ink colors and the ability to easily fold it. As mentioned at the beginning of my review, I had some issues with my printer and I've used different card stock with it but once I was able to get it printed it worked great! The printer ink colors showed up well and when I folded the card stock I didn't get the horrible fold line you sometimes get with thicker papers. I've attached a photo of the card I made. I can think of a million uses for this product but I think the next project will either be some Halloween decorations I'll be able to use over and over or some Christmas ornaments. Very nice product!
