This tape sticks very well. I had eye surgery and every night I had to cover my eye with a plastic protector. The paper tape they gave me to use wasn't sticking very well. I tried this tape and voila it worked! I used it every night for a week on my eye protector. Great tape and great price.

This transparent tape is my absolute favorite and I always make sure there is at least one at home for me to use. Their stickiness is stronger than magic tape and so I am able to secure papers and other things better. I also appreciate that this brand has a tape cutting edge that lasts the entire roll; other brands frustrated me because as the tape neared the end it got harder to use because the blade edges wore down too much.

Many tapes claim to be “clear,” but this one actually delivers. Unlike the cloudy, matte Or stain)-finish tapes I’ve used before, this tape is truly transparent with a smooth, glossy finish. It blends in almost like glass, making it ideal for wrapping projects where you don’t want the tape to be noticeable. Matte tapes have their place, but when you need something discreet, this is the better choice. My go-to tape going forward!

Love the convenience and service! Those pickup people should be paid double just for being in the elements of weather.

I've been using this tape for over a decade and it is better than the name brand tape it has tons of tape on the roll , I can wrap about 50-60 Christmas gifts with a single roll of this tape. price point for this is also very good.

the small plastic piece that hold the card backing/packaging on is essential to keeping the tape on the roll. be sure not to toss the plastic insert if you toss the cardboard backer piece!

This tape, dispenses easily, it sticks well, just as good as the namebrand! Great for the office or for projects, dispensing the amount you want. It’s nice and sticky.

While I really like the total transparence of the tape and it has a nice glossy finish the tape itself is very hard to rip. My 6 and 9 year old can't do it on their own without pulling a ton of tape out at once trying to rip it or creating a big bawled up mess. - Hence the 4 stars because I wish it would have better tearing abilities.

Two of the three rolls I bought split at an angle trying to unroll it to cut off for use. I tried being really slow and careful with the process but it still split off. I had a difficult time finding the end on the roll to get it started again—but no matter how careful I was, it still split much of the time. The cutter did not work well either—I wasted a lot of time and tape trying to get a piece off the roll to wrap a package. I won’t buy this brand again.

NORMALLY THE PEN AND GEAR BRAND WORKS AS WELL AS THE NAME BRAND SO I BOUGHT SEVERAL ROLLS OF THIS TAPE THINKING I WAS SAVING MONEY COMPARED TO THE NAME BRAND. I WAS WRONG. IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO GET THE TAPE TO COME OFF THE ROLL AND THEN ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO TEAR OFF CLEANLY. IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS, I WOULD. I BOUGHT THESE TO USE TO HELP SEAL ANY FILLED EASTER EGGS THAT WERE TRYING TO POP OPEN WHEN SNAPPED CLOSED. SINCE WE WERE HAVING AN EGG HUNT IT WOULD NOT DO WELL FOR THE CONTENTS TO BE SPILLED ALL OVER THE PLACE WHEN AN EXCITED KID GRABBED IT. IF IT HAD BEEN JUST ONE ROLL, I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED IT JUST A FLUKE, BUT EVERY SINGLE ROLL THAT I TRIED WAS LIKE THIS. AS I EXAMINED THE ROLLS/BACKING AND THE TEETH THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP THE TAPE TEAR COMPLETELY. I DISCOVERED IF I TORE THE TAPE OFF BACK TO FRONT, INSTEAD OF FRONT TO BACK, IT SEEMED TO DO BETTER, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED. WERE THERE SOME ROLLS LEFT? YES, BUT OUR CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT WAS WILLING TO TAKE THEM TO USE ANYWAY. SO I DIDN'T TAKE THEM BACK. HOWEVER, THAT MISTAKE WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN! I WILL BE BUYING THE BRAND NAME NEXT TIME.
