Check the bar spacing on the cage.
I gave only four stars, because for an X-large perch the washers are too small for my Macaw's cage (2' bar spacing). I can get larger washers at the hardware store. Those shouldn't cost much.

Calcium parrot perch
My Amazon parrot likes the perch, although it took a couple of days for her to get used to it! it is quite a heavy perch and needs a firmer support system to carry the weight of the bird that I have. Although Maxine has had no complaints so far! She does have a smaller cage but it is home and fits the needs of bird and owner. So, I am sure everything will work out fine!

if i could give it 0 stars..
the color of the perch was neon pink and all the paint and chalk color came off on my hands, we returned it for a refund, id never let my parrot sit on this.

Not good
Color stained on my hand even washed it several times. My bird didn't even want to come get to it.
