Our little bird loves this. Very sturdy and easy to install. The sanded perch is nice and should do the job nicely.

I give 5 stars because the 1 star was given out of anger because of the bird died. I think that is unfair and impulsive because she created the situation dangerous. She did not say the age of the perch and what were she doing. There are no facts about it except it broke and unfortunately the bird was injured by other toy. I think 3 stars is more realistic grade than 1.

DO NOT BUY THIS PERCH SWING EVER. A horrible accident happened and my sweet Mellow was sitting on it playing with the ring linked toy and the perch broke and she fell while her head was in one of the rings and she broke her neck and died instantly. THEY NEED TO RECALL THIS. We are DEVASTATED. She was a sweet gentle bird full of sassy personality that lost her life way too young. She was only about 6.

My budgies were able to undo one of the nuts that hold the swing on the hanging rods despite a drop of non toxic glue placed on the nut before tightening. Unfortunately, the tiny shiny nut was too tempting for one of my birds and she ate it causing an intestinal blockage and died last night. Walmart should remove this from their shelves and penn-plax should stop making it

The nuts used to secure the swing can easily be removed by the birds, and poses severe risk of ingestion by your pet. In my case, my bird passed away due to blocked intestines from this product.
