Awesome
Works great. I have this and the 1500 both keep my tanks super clean and clear. Used to have the on top of the tank style and this blows it out of the water.

I just got it so I actually ordered 2 for my 2-29 gallons and a bigger one for my 55 gallon. I love them. easy clean up too. just really look at instructions...

Absolutely amazing
We got the penn plex after our old waterfall filter wouldn't do a good job. No matter what we did, we were never able to get the water parameters correct. After we installed the penn plex, the water quality fixed itself quickly. We just changed the filter media for the first time in 5 months. The water stays crystal clear with a 10 percent water change each weekend.

Helpful and prompt
My original aquarium filter stopped working, I used my warranty to apply for a new one. The help desk was easy to reach and prompt to send out a new filter. Thank you

Excellent filter
I honestly can tell a huge difference after just 24 hours. We originally just had a sponge filter and it wasn't doing anything for our tank. Our water is already clear and the levels are balanced.

Get the correct size, easy to change and assemble highly recommend this filter I’ve been doing this Hobby for years, remember to get the correct size sometimes bigger is not better!
