Penn-Plax Cascade 600 Fully Submersible Internal Filter for Aquariums and Fish Tanks

Using in a turtle tank. Other filters have died or failed to keep the water clean. This keeps it clear and poop free for at least a week then you just rinse and replace. Carbon is eaay to change too.

I have bought this filter before for my turtle and it did great! I did however make a mistake and let the motor burn up by running it without water on accident. No ones fault but my own.

Love this internal filter for small aquariums. This is the 2nd one I've bought. Quality, good price, easy to dissemble for changing media. If you know enough about filters, you can use the brand name media you prefer. The flow is adjustable. Great little reliable filter!

Its very easy to set up. Very easy to clean. I bought two one for my office and one for home. Great price.

It's a little too big for my fish tank .....but what a difference in the clarity of the water. Easy to assemble and clean...what a bonus!!!!

just put 1 in the tank right now. But 1 of the filters did not come with everything in it. I'll manage because I got 2. They also look like they have been scuffed up by something but thats just the looks as lo g as it is working properly ill be happy.

This a good little filter for the price but only for a 5 to 10 gallon tank anything smaller and it disrupts the water too much which will stress the fish out also the sponge type filter that comes with it suck. I bought finer filter materials and cut it to fit and it works great. It's well worth the money I recommend it

you HAVE to fully submerge the pump to operate yes you can lay it down or use bar but my problem was when I tried to put it in for a waterfall the pressure was too high and when I slid it back to close it it just opened it back up so that was not an option

I ordered this to update from the cascade 300 to the 600, I thought it was a joke when I opened the box and seen how huge this filter is. The pieces are jamed together and it is all scuffed up.

So far not a fan of this filter. Me water was clear when input it in and now its cloudy. I will be putting my other filter back in because it never got cloudy with my old filter. Good thought but poor filteration.
