Love it, good for travel.
Perfect tank to maintain Betta's, tried it out first and bought 2 more. Works great, sturdy, nice light and all for a great price.
Well I personally love it. But my fish that's another story. First fish he died the day before it arrived. Second fish died an hour after I put her in it. They were my son and daughters fish. So it sits empty waiting for new tenants.
All in all, I am pleased with this micro aquarium. My 2 African Dwarf Frogs
Dividers are looses after 1st washing of tank
Very unhappy, felt ripped off. 28 dollars was far too high a price for the flimsy piece of junk. What they didn't tell me was that I needed to additionally buy an air pump(cost me 10 dollars), airline tubing, another 2 dollars, and then I still need to buy four AAA batteries for the lamp, however, for some odd reason the lamp cover is bolted with a screw that won't loosen so I can open the top of the lamp. By the time all is said and done, the price of 28 dollars turned into around 45 dollars. A very huge ripoff and lack of communication on behalf of the manufacturer when they advertised this product on the Wal-Mart sight. The other issue is that the airline tubing, and any airline tubing I could find did not fit(too small) for the filter, and I had to cut and alter the airline tubing to make it work. The only reason why I am keeping this is that I don't want to subject the fish to any more stress of moving from one to the other.
bettas need 2.5 gallons per fish, a heater, and a slow filter. this is to small for bettas. stress of feeling other bettas can kill them.
Please, please, PLEASE do not buy this tank for big fish. This would BARELY suit the tiniest aquatic life. Bettas will not live even close to their full lifespan in this tank. Bettas and other fish need a filter and a heater and at least 1 GALLON per inch of fish. I recommend a 3, 5, or better, a 10 gallon starter kit for betta fish. This, in my opinion and many others, is animal abuse. People think pet fish are purely ornamental but they will show signs of depression and aggression when kept in too small environments, and will also die sooner in them. A 3, 5, or 10 gallon starter kit may be slightly more expensive, but it better ensures a happy life and suitable environment for your fishy friend.
Absolutely too small for a betta, let alone three. Betta fish need a good few gallons and they NEED a filter and a heater, which this tank doesn't provide! Betta will be miserable and live a very short life in a tank like this. Being able to see other betta fish beside them will stress them out. These are living creatures. Do your research before buying a pet to give it a chance at a good life. I would only recommend this tank as a TEMPORARY quarantine tank.
To small! Bettaâs need at least 2.5 gallons EACH! They are trocipal fish which means they need warm water! (They need heaters ) Also make sure to use Chlorine remover in the water. Do your research to find out the proper way to keep these LIVING fish that have feeling so they dont suffer! (They are not disposable decoration)
