Awesome Seed
This seed is great. I will need need to put on my platform feeder. This has nuts and raisins too large for my feeder. The birds love it!! I will purchase a larger bag next time.

What is in this?
Besides what it says on the Bag? lol Every animal lives on our back patio now. Squirrels, Chipmunks, Doves, Every bird you can think of. They absolutely love this stuff! Highly recommend

Birds seem to like the variety of this seed, and it is so good to see the little birds coming to our feeders.

2 in 1 for my birds and squirrels
I liked that the squirrels enjoyed it as much as the birds. Great price such a big bag and that's a plus.

Save money mix your own seed for less
I love this seed but it's so expensive. I just started mixing my own seed with basically the same things in this and it I get over 45lbs of seed for almost $15 cheaper. do your research. also this blend attracts Starling birds and they take over everything.

Good Quality
This seed blend is much like what I put into the bird feed I mix up myself. Not much inedible debris nor filler type seed that usually isn't a hit around here. It contains ingredients that attract a wide variety of wild birds to the feeders

TWIGS within the blend! :(
Lately I am finding small TWIGS within the blend... not one or two...MANY! Seems they may be hoping we don't notice! Shame on you Pennington. I have been a longtime customer and disappointed with last 3 bags. Time to move on.

Lots of tiny white seeds they won't eat.
A lot of small white millet type seeds that song birds won't eat. A lot of waste to dump out. I will stay with black oil sunflower seeds next time.

Birds refuse it, squirrels ignore it.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this. I got this to give the birds that like to roost on my porch eves and 3 birdhouses I've put out in the yard for our below freezing temps. However, the birds are not eating it, and even the squirrels are not eating it. They all pick through it, but it just gets raked onto the ground. Perhaps I got a bad bag, or possibly it's the area I live in, the Deep South.

Disappointed
I ordered my order online and was VERY disappointed to receive a bag filled with a large amt of peanuts in the SHELL. What kind of birds are able to eat these?
