first I'd like to say pennington along with one other brand is all i ever need or use. pennington classic, premium and sun flower seeds are never wasted even when i spread on my deck. and a shout out to the Best squirrel proof bird feeders in the world Brome, a little pricey but it protects and holds the best bird seed
I buy this dog food because it is much less expensive than other brands %26 I can order the bags that are easier for me to lift. I have no dog, but 5 raccoons come from the woods into my backyard where I feed them the dog food every night. They love it. Much of their habitat has been destroyed, so I like supplementing their scarcity of natural resources. It's a fun hobby, %26 I think the raccoons appreciate it.
Well of course if you feed the birds the squirrels will come and they do to chomp down on the millet. I think it is a great value for a 20lb bag of seed that the birds do enjoy.
i am feeding small wild birds the large sunflower not good for them definitely not corn kernels. on walker because of car accident need to return refund!
None of my backyard bird would eat one of the seeds of which there were a lot. I end up dumping it on the ground and the doves like it but not cardinal, titmouse, chickadees or wrens.
I don't know why you've changed your Premium Blend which had sunflower seeds, dried cherries and other nuts mixed in with some millet, etc. The new blend is mostly millet with a few sunflower seeds thrown in. Birds do not eat the millet and it either ends up on the ground or sits in the feeder until it has to be scraped out. I'll be looking elsewhere.
Contents seem stale and dried out. 20 pound is not an economical purchase. Walmart seems to no longer stock 40 Pennington birders blend so I went to Chewy.
This bird feed my birds would not touch it. I don't know what's wrong with it, but I filled the two hoppers with it and they would not come near it or eat it at all. Turns out it's a big waste for me because I bought a very big bag of it.
I purchased this kind because my normal brand was sold out. My birds and squirrels do not seem to like this, and it came shrink wrapped so tight we had to take it outside to open it to avoid making a total mess.
Picture of product is misleading. The pictures shows a mixture of seeds. What I received was majority small round seeds. I will not be purchasing this product again.
