Pennington Recipe Selects Shelled Peanuts for Birds and Wildlife, Wild Bird Food, 5 lb Bag, 1 Pack, Dry

This was great having not to drive to Walmart because I live actually in Eureka. Really appreciate it! The squirrels %26 birds also thank you. Also letting me know time delivery would arrive is a plus. THANK YOU! Walmart is my place to buy treats for birds %26 squirrels. 👍

I initially bought this for the squirrels that I feed. however it seems like all the birds like them too. they're the perfect size for a Blue Jay to pick up. And if there's any left at critters at night always polish them all.

My ground squirrels love these peanuts, and I love watching the squirrels eat. I pretty much have to stay home so I really enjoy the company of my backyard friends. I also feed the birds.

I bought a bag of these before a cold snap hit (- 40 degrees a few nights). The birds need fats to help them stay warm during freezing temperatures. My beautiful Raven friend of 12 years was happy for the extra treat that I put out back daily for her and the other birds. She made a few trips to cache them and dog food :) I always feed them dry dog food , hard boiled eggs, peanut buttered bread, and scraps. The Blue jays , Starlings , Chickadees , Crows enjoyed them too.

These peanuts were a good value and the squirrels love them. I ground feed birds under cover of a shed and of course, the squirrels want in on the action. The birds and squirrels wait for me to put out their free meal in the morning and as long as there is food for everyone, they get along great. I have a morning dove and squirrel that have been eating together for a long time and once rush hour is over, they like to sit together quietly and casually eat. This is the brand I have been buying for years but they have changed the packaging. Still the same great product.

I think my birds only love me for my peanuts. I mix these peanuts with sunflower seeds and when I run out of peanuts, very few birds show up at my feeders. With peanuts, it's a free-for-all with 3 different kinds of woodpeckers, blackbirds, blue jays, nuthatches, titmice, chickadees, and a few differnt sparrows. its just the right mix for my yard.

This is a newer brand of shelled animal peanuts for Walmart to sell that I have now purchased a couple of times for my backyard songbirds and squirrels. FYI: the neighborhood raccoons and opossums enjoy them also--an added benefit! They are, in general, a good quality product, The peanuts come thoroughly shelled and 'clean'. Some (a small minority) do appear shriveled and dried up, but the majority look fresh. The peanuts are eagerly consumed on a daily basis and seemed to be tolerated well by the animals. They are shipped in a plastic bag, arrive intact, and I store them in that same bag with a tight clip on the bag to keep any bugs or a lot of air out of the bag.

I bought these for the Cardinals and smaller birds, cause it's you know hard for them to open the shelled peanuts which I buy those for the crows and the Blue Jays. Nobody will eat these. — they will sit for weeks - I tasted one and it doesn't taste good- I'm not sure if this was just a bad batch or whatever but I don't recommend buying them which is a shame because I need a peanut that's not in the shell maybe it's just a I got a bad bag or something idk

This bag of peanuts was filled with tree twigs, bark and rubbish. I dumped it on the ground so what nuts were in it could be picked thru without putting all that trash in my feeder. I contacted Pennington and they replied with "this happens at the end of the run". Well if they know it they should throw those away. Won't buy Pennington Peanuts again.

Received an awful entire 5 pound bag full of broken up and crushed shells with an occasional piece/chip of peanut. There were tons of branches and vines in the bag as well. This is the second bag of peanuts from this company that have had issues. I used to receive big huge quality peanuts and now it's chunks of shells. I will no longer buy this brand again.
