Yard Is looking GREAT ! ! 🌷🌷🌷 Thank you ! ! !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My yard has many areas in desperate need of reseeding, and is certainly a mix of sun and shade. Some areas were damaged by dogs, some areas were previously ravaged by chickens, and some areas were torn up from repairing underground drainage lines. Although the product seems to go far, with the condition of my lawn, I could definitely use at least another bag or two! The grass seed was easy to apply, and the green coating made it easy to see which areas I seeded. I raked some of the area beforehand, sprinkled on seed by hand since I didn't have a spreader, and raked it again to spread out the seed. I applied this seed in early October, which is a little late in the season. Even with the late planting, I still had good germination and most of the bare spots I added seed to are seeing significant improvement. I won't truly know how well it holds up until next spring, but it seems promising!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in different spots in my yard from the front and the back. I had small spots unneeded to fill. This was a great chance to use a small portion to see how it worked with my lawn in Minnesota. I received the product later in the year and was worried it would lay properly. But as I mixed this into my soil, this was able to begin a growing process. The weather turned cold and the process slowed down, but for the timing, this showed it could definitely handle the job I needed it for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn has been patchy due to shade and soil issues and I've tried other seed before without a lot of success. Nothing ever grew well or fully filled in the patches until now. I'm not sure why it worked so much better than other brands I've used, but I used the same process, adding some fresh soil, then the seed, and keeping it watered. But I got WAY more grass from this Pennington seed. I'm excited to use their other products in my yard in the springtime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product covered a troubled spot in my yard that had been bare. The previous owner of my house had left an area of the back yard bare, just dirt and wood chips. I used the seed in this area and was happy with the result. It is a mostly shaded area so hadn't been conducive to coverage. This seed grew there and filled what was once bare.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with how quickly they get grass grew. Temperatures are getting a lot cooler in Minnesota so I was concerned that the grass wouldn't even grow it, but it did. I'm looking forward to using more of it to build up some bare areas in my yard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small backyard in the city, so I only get sun for about half the day due to shadows. Always tough to get grass to grow, especially where my dogs goes to the bathroom. This worked great to cover up the spots. Only took a few weeks and saw growth. I'm planning to use this again in the spring to jumpstart they yard after the winter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this grass seed to reseed my lawn this Fall, it doesn't get the best sun so it's hard to grow anything in the area. This seems to have actually taken and I'm excited to see it grow more in the spring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose an area just under 300sqft to use as an overseeding application via a spreader. The seeds appear to be in good quality. We have been watering consistently since laying seeds and at this point they are still setting. Update can be provided as progress continues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spread our grass seed in some bare areas where we previously had mulch. It took a while to take off since the weather hasn't been that great. It's starting to look better even though I was sure it wasn't going to work. Hoping it will do better when the weather cools.
