Pentair 523735-EC IntelliChlor Plus40 IC40 Plus Replacement Salt Cell, 40,000 Gallons

When my pool guy opened it up it looked completely different. My heart sank because my kids were coming in from out of town and they live in the pool while home. This apparently was the newer version of the part I ordered and IT FIT PERFECTLY....EVEN HAD EXTRAS FOR THE PERFECT FIT. THANKS GUYS!!!!

Expensive but fit well in existing space and appears to be working properly.

Item was delivered to wrong address, neighbor brought it to our house from several houses down road . package was well packaged, but when I installed the replacement it keeped showing no flow, tried to do everything to find info on the problem online, messed around for several hours with it. finally I uninstalled looking for obstructions, examining the cell I noticed the flow paddle was stuck flat against the fin area. I used my finger to try and move the flow paddle something clicked, so I reinstalled it and it finally worked. I really don't know if the flow switch is faulty or what. No one tried to reach out to me on my first reply to their review. I am not too impressed at the moment, could have better customer support, what do you think?

Product did not work. Defective. First time ordering from Walmart 3rd party and was hesitant about refund and hesitant about simply reordering. Purchased else where local and paid more simply for security purposes and turn around time. The price was reason I purchased. Don't know if product was refurbished or not. But one should look closely if items say “renewed”.

Do not buy from WalMart because will not provide any support for the product. Including accepting return when product is defective.

after a few weeks it quit reading flow, i contacted Pentair and they had me send in prrof of purchase and said my documents ( receipt from walmart and corresponding cc bill with the purchase amount) . i have to reset unit every few days to keep it generating chlorine.

DO NOT BUY THROUGH WALMART MARKET PLACE!! Salt cell was defective on arrival, chlorine output was low, salinity read erroneously high. Defective item returned to local Walmart store, then Walmart store lost the item and was never revieved by FedEx to initiate refund. I cannot get anyone competent at Walmart store or Walmart website to return the $1800 they stole from me. Again, Do not buy through Walmart Marketplace!
