WOW
I've had kreepy products for 35 years and my current cleaner is probably my 5th. I've replaced several parts over the years but never have had an issue with the flapper. This combined with the fact that the flapper did not look like it was considerably worn made me skeptical that this would fix my problem. Leaves and debris kept getting stuck on the flapper and the Kreepy just generally wasn't moving well and kept getting stuck. For under $30 bucks i gave a new one a try. the Kreepy immediately started "bipping" like a helicopter and moved about the pool faster than ever. The entire fix was under $30 and took less than 5 minutes.
