Pentair MasterTemp Pool Heater with Premix Combustion Technology for Spa

New unit replaced a 10 year old exact same unit that I was completely happy with until it died a mean corrosion scale death. I installed this one with a partial flex in the gas feed so I can routinely unhook water feeds and pivot unit 6 inches to use a muratic acid flush routinely. My space on pad is really limited which led me to this unit in the first place.

So far it's great! Heated pool up by 10 degrees in 2 hrs.

Once unboxed I was able to love it around end even get it up stairs with a hand truck. Plumbing connections were opposite from my Raypack so did a lot of pvc and gas work. Pool is not open yet so no rating on the actual product. Packaging was all cardboard and recyclable.

Heater is good although could not get from doheneys. No 3 different times pushed to July so I cancelled order

So far so good! And buying it online I saved $$ vs our pool company buying it & delivering it to us. And it came quickly, which was great!

Bought a new pool heater and it had parts that were not working. I called tech support and they pawned me off on Pentair. The worst customer service. We had to find a fix ourselves

If I could give no stars I would. The heater was professionally installed and didn't work. They quickly arranged to have it picked up. Now I can't get any type of answer whatsoever as to when I will be getting a replacement that works. Pay a little more and buy from someone that takes care of their customers after they get your money,.

I purchased this May 23, 2022, and had it hooked up by a professional and it doesn't work, called the company I purchased it from, they told me to call Pentair, I called Pentair, there was about 173 minutes wait to talk to someone.

As it is on back order, seemingly interminable, I do not have the product and cannot review, maybe next year, glad I paid for it up front/sarc
