These pastels are soft texture which is good going on your canvas or drawing pad. Would recommend for beginners or advanced. Great quality!

Colorful fun
This pastel set is at such a great price and wonderful for that artist in your life who loves color. Great to use on watercolor paper and easy to use for beginners.

Good quality of pastels and love the wide color selection. We did find they did not stay in tray well and due to not have deep grooves, slid out when bumped or spilled easily. Package design could be improved to continue to hold the products and help maintain for longer use, but the product itself is as described and quality.

nice but...
I got 2 of these for my niece at walmart website. It arrived a week after i order it for in store pick up. it was nicely packaged. I checked them as soon as i got home and they are intact. Not one broken pc! it is a little pricey but these are good quality pastels. They are better than crayons. Would be nice if they are available at the store.

Stinks
These stink so badly. Tried to air them out or just deal with it but it stinks up the whole room. Smells like old bandaid chemical smell. Gives me a headache.
