Looks great and is sturdy

This pen is a wonder-working gift imparted to us by generations of engineers and craftsmen. I really like it. The only draw-back is that it does not have the small eraser that usually caps the place where the lead is loaded.

For my personal use this pencil only gets 3 stars. Only because I prefer 0.7 mm lead and a larger eraser. However if you want a stylish pencil that you may have to explain how it works to the hapless engineer that has forgotten to bring a writnig instrument to the meeting then this could be it. I thought it was missing some parts when I first got it. The plastic product case was cracked and there were no instructions so I figured it was a return that had been put back in inventory. Once you figure it out it looks, operates and feels like a fine writing instrument. Like I said this pencil is about style. My go-to pencil is a Pentel Twist-Erase Click in 0.7 mm made in Mexico with a big eraser. The "Kerry" (made in Japan) is the pencil to be seen with. Very nice if you don't mind the small eraser and 0.5 mm lead.

Nice moderately priced mechanical pencil for those who like something a step above ordinary.
