Pentel Twist-Erase III Mechanical Pencil, (0.9mm), Black Barrel

I bought this pencil for my high school son. He is very picky about his mechanical pencils. He loves this pencil and says it is the best he has ever had. He likes the large lead (0.9 mm) and says the pencil writes smooth and doesn't hurt your hand when you are writing. He says it has a good grip to hold onto the pencil and he wants me to buy more of these pencils.

I have used every kind of mechanical pencil out there. If you are looking for a mechanical pencil that is not expensive but writes like it is...this is the pencil for you. It is the best!!!!!

Love these mechanical pencils. The 0.9 lead doesn't break as easily (my kids love the mechanical pencils and these are their favorite). Love the retractable eraser. I have had several of these and they had lasted for years - till my kids started using them. A few broke with their abuse. So glad to find that they still make them and I could get more. They seem to be just as good still too. :)

Love the strong lead and the long extendable eraser! Would like to get some replacement erasers later.

Perfect size for the extensive writing I do

I thought it was 0.5 but it's still a good pencil. My only complaint is that the eraser moves down when I try to erase something with it

It came not in a package which makes you wonder if it is new or used. It should have said in the description it wouldn't be new and in a package and I wouldn't have ordered it.
