[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the bag of sour dough bread, I had high hopes. It smelled delicious! The texture of the bread is nice and soft, although the slice is smaller than I expected. I toasted the bread and smeared it with peanut butter which is what I typically do with other sliced bread. The thin sliced Pepperidge Farm sour dough was disappointing. Toasting it to a light golden brown seemed to mess with the texture. When I bit into the bread, it took some effort to tear it off. The bread has become tough. The sour dough flavor also went away. The bread is fine on its own, but not something I'll be craving.
