Pepperidge Farm Frozen Coconut Layer Cake, 19.6 oz. Box

I love Coconut cake. Pepperidge Farm has been making this one for some time but not everyone carries it. I was overjoyed when Walmart started carrying it— for a frozen cake it’s wonderful. Leave it out to thaw for a little while before you eat it (they recommend it) and you may think it’s bakery fresh. I’ve eaten it frozen and it’s still wonderful. Of course, that’s me… And it’s a steal compared to what the bakery charges for a Coconut Cake! Am I addicted? Maybe so…

fresh and delicious. great buy for the money. i saw the reviews which where good and took a dive and purchased it. its deliciously crazy. first i buy cake from this brand its good. the coconut flavor is soft and creamy. the cake is moist like if it was made today. i cantbelieve it that it so good. im gonna buy this from now on. its consistent in flavor and taste. its the right amount of sweetness.

I'm a little mad that I found this cake. I live alone, so I ate the entire thing. It took me a while, but I did it. Don't tell me I could leave most of it in the freezer, I knoooooooow, but it's too yummy for that. I have to convince a friend to take half of it this time. Boy, Pepperidge Farms really does remember. :)

We enjoy this cake for dessert...it's a favorite.!The coconut %26 frosting are not overly sweet and the cake is moist! It is convenient to take the cake out of the freezer and either take out a portion or to defrost the whole cake. Of course, with the Pepperidge Farm is a trusted name for quality so we feel confident in any of the products they produce!

I discovered the cake years and years ago. I love the fact that its light and airy. The frosting is whipped cream with a touch of regular frosting one would put on a birthday cake. The cake its self is a yellow cake with a layer of frosting in the middle. This cake has gotten pretty small, so dont expect that the cake fills there whole box. No it doesnt. Hopefully, they dont raise the price of this lovely little cake.

If you like coconut, super creamy icing and moist multi-layered cake, I’d recommend trying this Pepperidge Farm cake. Although frozen, it thaws quickly. I also like that you get so many servings! Gotta admit, it’s even good frozen!! I wish Walmart carried their chocolate cake too!

I wish Walmart carried more flavors because you can't go wrong with this boxed, frozen cake. EZ to thaw. Fresh, light, and moist! I get 6 servings (box says 8) and that is a good deal! Nice with a bit of ice cream, or whipped cream. You could even put a few candles for an impromptu birthday cake! My favorite part is that it is not too sweet.

I truly didn’t have high hopes for this one. Desperate for some sweet coconut goodness, really, it didn’t have to be much to eliminate my distracting cravings! I was shocked at how much I really enjoyed it! I don’t like frozen cake. Even if only frozen for mere hours. I am not going to bake a cake for myself. At least, not these days. I spent quite a while baking more than enough cakes, cupcakes, cookies and a few other things but I actually have my stove covered in ongoing art projects so I definitely thought I was settling. I am definitely ordering this cake again! Likely, too often! The textures are delightful and it’s light and fluffy, well, I didn’t think it possible for a frozen cake to not have that awful freezer taste. I am a bit more sensitive to flavors and smells than others. Maybe I was lucky this time? I will find out soon because I am not going to be able to wait long.

Best budget friendly birthday cake. Even my family members who don’t like coconut/coconut flavor, will totally eat this cake. It thaws quickly and you can get 9 small, but reasonable, size pieces of cake or 6 large pieces. I also like it when I just need a little sweet treat. It holds up fairly well in the fridge for up to 3 days. I give this a 5/5 based on flavor, texture and value.

I love this cake. I was looking forward to getting it in my grocery delivery on Tuesday evening, September 2. I did NOT get it although I paid for it. I got 2 extra things I did not order. I do not eat turkey franks, but I have someone's turkey franks. The delivery driver was delivering more than just my order but did not pay attention. Now I do not have my cake and someone else does not have his/her turkey franks. The store I order from is out of one or two items when I order. I am a senior citizen and belong to Walmart Plus because I do not drive. If I do not get an item, then I cannot order just one item. It is very frustrating.
